There is a problem now, the "cockroaches" have started spreading awareness, but still fingers crossed, they are a billion plus who knows.

I wish this saffron monkey becomes the next pm of india.
Sure - but then how many of their MKis can actually launch those and the success of those sorties? They can just cut all the risk this time with Su-30MKI carrying Brahmos. If CEP is higher than other options it doesn't matter, these strikes are ultimately for PR purposes. Just the visual of a crater on a taxi way or runway is enough.
Previously they used other options like Rafales and Mirages. Most likely carrying SCALP and Rampage. They can just skip that.

Keep in mind - many of hits that occurred were not launched from well beyond the range but rather those that occurred with a shorter reaction time.
WrongWell that's why they have 270 of those things. They can just keep trying until they score a hit with zero risk to the aircraft or pilots in return for a reduced hit rate which they can afford.
Yes there were some much shorter range launches too from Mirage/Jag/Rafale. They had to get close and take risks, and it makes it possible to shoot them down. Don't know if PAF had any firing solutions on the second round
Wrong
Only 40 of those 270 are wired to fire it currently
Of those how many are actually serviceable?
I get the want to highlight threats which are real but there is a fine line between threat analysis and “the sky is falling”
Then don’t trust the number - but you better have actual understanding of availability, sortie rates and so on to be able to identify the true scale of the threat.I'm not trusting that number. Surely they can modify more airframes to carry.
It's not about sky falling but falling behind in the standoff A2G domain. They did the same in BVR and air to air domain by becoming a flying rocket force.
If it will be a Lucknovi Brahmos it will waste soo much time in being polite and wanting creature comforts that it would never leave the TEL.
In the next round, it is highly probable that either the IAF or IN will fire Brahmos/Rampage/SCALP from safe distances. It will turn into a game of air defence and missiles very quick.
We are actually lacking quite hard in that domain. AD is minimal and rocket force has just been built. PAF jockeys can't shoot farther than their missile flies.
No telling when there'll be another big attack in Kashmir which kicks off the next round.
