As I had said in this thread: There wouldn't have been the ceasefire in early April if that was not needed by Israel and America. Iranians are not stupid to see that and thus they are capitalizing on the gains prior to the ceasefire.
But some people have disappeared from this thread--both Iranians and Pakistanis.

True promise 1 was after embassy in Damascus was hit

It was Iranian consulate in Syria that Israel bombed pre-emptively. Technically, it was our embassy and per international law, it was a violation of our sovereignty. A legitimate reason to strike back. This time, it's a pre-emptive strike over something unrelated to Iran.

It shows that Iran has become bolder and is no longer afraid of striking Israel without casus belli. This can partially restore Iran's lost deterrence against the rabid dog.

I think you have been given a comprehensive response by multiple posters about your incorrect post about the 12 day war, so I don’t have much to add there.

One thing I wanted to add that wasn’t mentioned: don’t forget who requested the end to hostilities/ceasefire at the end of the 12 day war. This has been documented by many Western analysts, who don’t exactly have the reputation of being pro-Iran or even fair to both sides of the conflict.

It shows Israel cannot fight a prolonged war against Iran (with or without US support). It can only adopt shock and awe tactics, which can work against Gaza; but can’t even work against Hezbollah in Lebanon, forget against Iran.

Bullies only stop when they know they could be beaten back. As simple as that. In my 4th grade of schooling in Pakistan, there was a bully guy who'd beat me up. He was taller, stronger and maybe older too. He was called 'the coat guy' because he used to wear a blazer and he terrorized everyone. But my brother was in 5th grade in the same school and was even taller and stronger and I still remember my brother beat the shit of the bully and I was never touched after that.

Majority of the interceptions during the war were carried out by THAAD and SM-3. Not israel's own air defenses. And yes the US provided israel with refueling tankers for there airforce. They also had two aircraft carriers off the coast of israel so American jets can intercept shaheds

Israel appears entirely dependent on the US when it comes to striking another nation state

It's looking for a green light + consistent supply of US munitions and intelligence+ defensive US shield against missiles + entire weight of centcom behind Israeli military in event other nation state carried out extensive retailation

Trump likely doesn't want that scenario to play out but Netanyahu could bypass him and consult Congress members and Pentagon for a green light

It increases the importance of the mediators and reminds the combatants about the urgency of resolving this conflict. So far the US is not able to reject Israeli meddling and sabotage to end this useless war and that is not the fault of the mediators.
