And looks like that's china and Russia talking,they gave Iran a green signal with all the assurance that they will be support Iran. That's needed to be honest else isreal won't stop. They know isreal must not succeed in Lebanon.

Russia cannot green-light anything right now, they are badly bogged down in the Ukraine war.

You are right.

And this is common sense. Israel has an ego issue and would need to continuously display it's military strength.

It's been 5 hours since the strikes and they are still silent about it. Why? Because US is not supporting them to escalate at the moment.

In the end, Israel took a risk to strike Beirut, and paid the price of an escalation. It only has itself to blame.
