Trump had put the pressure on. If true Iran has helped save Hizboallah and Lebanon by not backing down here. This has been master strategy by Iran. Israeli right and military will be FUMING with Netanyahu for agreeing to this.

I would be surprised if Iran fired at Israel again over south Lebanon

It could put Trump back on side of Israel in this round and it's a big ask. Maybe worth taking the risk over for Iran, idk. We will see

🔴 Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters: Suspension of Armed Forces Operations Announced

🔹Following the aggressions and evils of the Zionist regime in southern Lebanon and the Dahiya region, which were carried out with the support of the United States, the powerful armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran gave a painful response to this regime in support of the oppressed people of Lebanon.

🔹A response from which the fake Zionist regime and its supporters should have learned a lesson.

🔹Accordingly, the suspension of armed forces operations is announced; but it is emphasized that if aggressions and evils continue, including in southern Lebanon, much more severe and crushing measures will be on the way.

Brother I had similar view points. But sadly it appears that except for few warriors ( Hezbollah, houthis, Iraqi militias, etc) fighting the israeli aggression in the arab world, majority of arab world is a dead horse.

I wouldn't bet your expectation on the arab world including iraqis to counter israelis anywhere. As far as I understand their oil revenues go into US federal reserve bank. So they are already beholden to US. Plus as mentioned they don't have strong military which is the same case for rest of arab world.
Even more reason for not letting them export their oil :) It's literally American money as you said. Instead of giving them full toll exemption, we should choke the Iraqi government off, who is not very that friendly towards Iran anyway, and force them to either get their shit together or face consequences like the rest of the Arab countries near the Persian Gulf.

As I said, we are too kind with Iraq, who killed over 300K Iranians during the Iraq-Iran under Saddam. They do not deserve this kind treatment and historically, they have been known to be betrayers to Imam Ali, Imam Hassan and Imam Hussein.

Iran playing this very very well

By what metric? Israel hit two of our largest petrochemical plants in the morning. What did Iran hit by firing a couple of missiles on Israeli air bases?

The pre-emptive strike was the right move, but we didn't follow through and materialize our threats after Israel hit Iran's infrastructure.

Lets see if Israeli air strikes in Lebanon start to stop, or not. That is the true test, and not a tweet.

Iran now needs to reign in Hizballah. If Israel has stopped the strikes and Hizb start hitting them again in Israel then we are back to square one. My guess is many in Hizb happy to see the war go on. In that sense they have a lot in common with the Israeli right wing

Are you trying to "suggest" that the USA has started the process of drawing down its resources in the middle east and associated logistical support that it moved in ?

That is what I am thinking. If so that would be a ballsy move by Trump, basically telling Israel you are now officially on your own
