What's Up with Some Japanese People's Obsession About Immigration in Europe and their desire to want to see only White People and No Diversity?

What did the supposedly insular Japanese ever do to earn this coordinated outrage on this thread? Hard to escape the feeling that a radically different culture existing successfully is what actually irritates people here.

Some kind of inferiority complex bubbling up if people are wasting time pointing at a country that isn't even theirs.

A lot of what happened simply came down to money.
Somebody saw a way of making money and the rest was history.

The anime/manga craze really took off due to some guy liking popular US "wide eye" comic book art style craze and so he started doing it in Japan and it also became successful. If money is to be made then somebody will try it.

Plus early TV shows (to make money) were also targeting selling to Western audiences and thus that had a huge influence on their art style. They weren't targeting people in Africa/Central Asia.

Speed Racer - which was wildly successful..so they had a money making art style..so if it ain't broken don't fix it. The character "looks" stuck for subsequent shows.

Compare the above intro to Le Mans (note the cars banging into each other)

The japs and koreans think they are on a class tier 2, behind only to global powers but higher than all other non whites because their homes are high gdp per capita like many white countries. When they see equality in western countries, they get confused that non whites won't accept their tier 3 status as humans. Its just the product of western brainwashing and vassal slave relationship.

So much projection in this thread by Asians.

Can't help you, no real interactions with Asians.

In case you haven't been reminded, this is Mental Health Awareness Month.

Early this morning, a meth head with holes in his ears, wearing his gay pride shirt, came up to my register.

"Do you want a receipt?". "Have a nice day!".

Star Blazers s2 ep 17 A Show of Force

****, what kind of countries are these? Their own countries are poor and backward, like piles of shit, yet they spend so much energy nitpicking and judging a country that is so much more advanced and developed than theirs. It’s pathetic.

Japanese people I don't think they dye their hair to look like westerners
They just have their own sense of fashion or style

I think the color , is symbolic representation of freedom from their school system which is quite strict and conservative.

Corporate life is also equally strict, every one has to have professional business hair cut. Everyone has to have normal hair color

So in between their highschool life and Work life they have few years where they do things with their hair style or color

Having fancy Hairstyle or color is just their way to show they are not in school or corporate life

People who don't work in Corporate sector of course can have any hair style or color they want , musician , movie artist , general none corporate private sector worker
Good observation, Japanese people do things for themselves, they have stopped looking abroad by and large for trends to mimic; they have their own domestic trends.

Japan has a long history of being insular. Over the last 30 years, fewer Japanese have learned to speak English, gone to school abroad, and generally not sought to learn from life abroad, as reported by a Japanese school teacher (YouTuber) I use to follow up until last year, when he deleted his YouTube channel.

Japanese people know the influx off tourists is due to their weaker currency, and the over-tourism compounding their weaker earning on top of inflation, has made them weary of foreigner in general.

Know it comes down to the “quality” of foreigners they encounter. Western white (or perceived to be white) foreigners that behave within “acceptable norms” get a pass, otherwise their is a sliding scale of tolerance of foreigners, depending on their utility to the country and if trusts become a “nuisance”; breaking written and unwritten rules.

Even amongst white westerners that move to Japan, after years of living in there, they realize Japanese people will never see them as Japanese and accept the futility of laying down roots of that is the goal. Heck even half Japanese people don’t get accepted or Japanese descent people from abroad don’t get accepted.

Japan is very insular.

 How is this different than some white westerner in China?
As if you expect to see them in upper management positions in Chinese companies? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Any stuff you try and throw at a wall in Japan to see if it will stick to prove some extreme Japanese societal bias you should first try throwing it at a wall in China to see some true colors.

I heard they have issues due to their majority population being old, and the young ones not getting married and having kids.........a demographic/population issue which they will soon regret, if not already!

They don't like others(foreigners) coming into their country.

I'm here as an extreme minority and I can tell you right now that Japs don't want anyone to come here at all.

Its their choice bhai, and we got no say in that whatsoever.

Either conform (become Japanese) or leave quietly.

Buss.......

This country will never become the next UK, US or Canada.

Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao published an article on June 8, 2026: "Harassment and hate speech on the rise raise concerns among Japanese Muslims about becoming targets of discrimination."

The original text is in Chinese. To read the original, please visit:

The following is a summary translated by Google:

Japan's Muslim population has increased from 230,000 to approximately 420,000 in five years, with over 160 mosques. However, harassment and hate speech targeting this group have risen significantly.

Social media is spreading misinformation, and mosques in multiple locations have been subjected to suspicious fires, protests, and frequent hostile phone calls. Some Muslims are reducing their outings due to safety concerns.

Scholars point out that the targets of discrimination are expanding from Koreans and Kurds in Japan to Muslims, and existing anti-hate speech laws are insufficient in their deterrent effect.

The Muslim community is working hard to integrate into the local community, assisting new immigrants in adapting to local life and calling on society to view them as individuals rather than through labels.

This isn't misinformation, they are directly attackikng the Muslim population and the authorities are fully aware of it. Few days ago, there was a protest held against Muslims with a slogan saying "no Mosques, no religion". According to them, Muslims are hurting their culture and by attacking and forcing them out of Japan, they can protect the said culture.
The stupidest thing I have noticed in all of this is that there have been zero reports of Muslims attacking any japanese shrines yet they are openly attacking the Mosques in the name of culture preservation.

Sorry, I personally have no position on this incident; I am only using it as a subject of study.
