Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Sure if the U.S. doesn’t mind using half its entire stockpile of tomahawks on a quick squirming with a regional power without achieving any of its strategic objectives
May be they were saving those missiles for possible future conflict with China, but seeing how Iran have humiliated them made them realize they will probably never fight China so better utilize it against Iran.

Interesting is the countries Iran is not attacking. Saudi, UAE and Qatar.

I think they are going directly for bases that are staging the US forces attacking them. Seems like this is only Jordan, Kuwait and Bahrain.

Saudi and Qatar increasingly becoming just neutral players here. Surprised UAE has been left alone

I think Iran had to narrow down its targets. As, Iran do not have unlimited stock of missiles. It could be 10-20% remaining of pre-war status.

Also after 100 days of surviving and fighting back, there's lot of Iran's military hardware is already used in the war, many destroyed too by the US. So the powerful countries in GCC like KSA and UAE have more incentive to join the war now when Iran is weakened. So Iran is this time around little careful. Qatar on other hand is using diplomacy with Iran and not choosing hostility at all.

Yes, this is a possible theory but has not stopped Iran adding Jordan to the list.

Brent and WTI prices are falling below $90 per barrel. Not good for Iran.
Exactly.

The markets no longer believe Iran can hinder the USA enough to disrupt global trade. When that perception is lost, the jig is up.

Iran's ONLY real world leverage has evaporated due to a poor response to the recent American actions. This is a criminal act of dropping the ball from the Iranian leadership.

Where was the overwhelming missile barrage against ANY single target?? Where was the saturation drone swarm against even a single USN ship??

Tucker Carlson is relentless in attacking Israel. He tries to balance his attack by also targeting Iran and other Muslim forces in that region but clearly his venom is against Israel and very cleverly fuses Christians as victims along with Palestinians as victims. He is not preaching to the choir, which would be the Muslim world: He is preaching to the Christians of the West. Very clever.
I can't say I am a fan of this guy but he is on the right side of history at the moment and that's good enough for me.

His messaging technique resonates better than “death to Israel..”.

We have a saying in the old country, dore good eestadee va migi lengesh koon. Retard or not, they fought against nuclear-armed nations, along with the brainless donkeys across the Persian Gulf, and inflicted major damage on the Americans, Satanistan, and the donkeys.
Yeah its a sad situation now. Iran's pulled down the panties of pretty much everybody in the region and exposed everyone as a bunch of ass clowns.

This is a serious problem now because the respect/ integrity/ sovereignty of everyone has been compromised big time.

Everybody was in da water paddling around........but now that the tides run out......wes all can see now that who was swimmin nekkid no?........:p

It will be interesting to see what was targeted by the Americans in this latest escalation. My bet is still on a de-escalation.

US and Iran wrangle over frozen funds as they edge toward interim deal, Iranian sources say

DUBAI, June 11 (Reuters) - Efforts to reach an interim deal to end hostilities between Iran and the U.S. have intensified, three Iranian sources and a European official told Reuters on Thursday, despite strikes launched by both sides, as the warring parties discuss how to release frozen Iranian funds.
The sources said Iran and the United States were still exchanging messages over ‌details of a memorandum of understanding amid the ongoing confrontation between Tehran and Washington.

The Iranian sources said a political understanding had been reached, but some issues remained to be discussed in detail, including a mechanism for the release of tens of billions of dollars of Iranian oil revenues frozen in foreign banks.
"Iran wants $6 billion to $12 billion of its frozen funds to be released to Tehran, while Washington wants to release funds in stages for humanitarian goods and rejects returning funds to Iran outright," said one of the Iranian sources.
A senior European official said: "Right now, talks are focusing very precisely on the technical details and the financial amount — in short, the level of liquidity available to Iran."

Iran maritime body says Hormuz completely closed 'until further notice'

Iran’s new body overseeing the Strait of Hormuz confirmed a complete closure order for the strategic waterway until further notice, after the Revolutionary Guards announced the move overnight, AFP reports.

“Due to the tensions caused by the aggression of the American forces in the region and the announcement made last night by the Iranian armed forces, the Strait of Hormuz will be closed until further notice,” the Persian Gulf Strait Authority said in a post on X.

“Applicants who have been granted a transit permit are asked to be patient and wait for instructions from the PGSA”.
