Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Is the $300B coming out of US Treasury or is it a combo of Iranian seized funds and extorsion from gulfies?

I don't know. Getting the crap beaten out of you isn't something to brag about in my book.

Hezbollah has entered a dangerous period where it is facing internal pressure and unstoppable Israeli aggression. Unlike the previous times in 2000 and 2006, Hezbollah hasn't been able to fend off Israeli attacks and Israel is occupying a large chunk of Lebanese territory this time. And Iran isn't in a situation help Hezbollah reconstruct Southern Lebanon. Eventually, the popularity of Hezbollah as a resistance movement will decrease.
I'm not saying it is something to brag about, or they won, just that it is very difficult to totally destroy these groups.

I think Hezbollah has proved it's mettle and will not only survive but thrive. Israel went for the kill and failed.

Hi Its me Badmash Jagga,

While I welcome the successful electronic signing of the MoU and look forward to the physical ceremony in Geneva, it is deeply disappointing to see Iran once again offer Chabahar Port to India despite Pakistan's consistent support during difficult times. True friendship is tested in moments of crisis, and many Pakistanis will find it hard to understand why their sacrifices, goodwill, and diplomatic efforts appear to be overlooked in favor of strategic arrangements that raise serious security concerns for Pakistan. Nations are free to pursue their interests, but mutual respect and acknowledgment of sincere support should also remain central to regional relationships.

Firstly, where did you get the info that the Chahbahar Port is given back to India to run it? Several months ago, even the Indian analysts were crying over the loss of that Port to China. BTW, Indians are everywhere: In the Trump cabinet, in the global financial institutions. And even if they run the Chahbahar Port, it will be another civil operation. I have never been worried about India and Chahbahar connection.

Right.
To totally eliminate Hezbollah, Israel will have to take the fight into Beirut and beyond and kill a large number of Shia Muslims who are indistinguishable from Hezbollah. Zero possibility of that. Zero!

There is many a slip between the Cup & Lip.

It’s a shaky deal & most likely a temporary arrangement. Expect war after mid-term elections in US. Iran must prepare & prepare long & hard.
History shows that major powers often weaken their adversaries gradually before seeking larger political outcomes, which is why many people are concerned about Iran's long-term security situation. At the same time, it is difficult to call Iran a completely reliable partner for Pakistan when it continues expanding strategic cooperation with India through Chabahar despite Pakistan's legitimate security concerns and India's hostile track record toward Pakistan. The reality is that in international politics there are no permanent friends, only permanent interests, and Iran—like most states—appears to prioritize its own economic and geopolitical interests over any notion of regional brotherhood or loyalty.

I'm sure the american navy has a lot more duties out there patrolling the seas , not just wars so they can get on the maritime safety patrols and anti-pirate missions

That's where its really needed in the oceans
I concur for the most part

As I mentioned I see the tweet which Iranian F.M offered Chabahar Port back to India.

As several posters mentioned previously that Trump only respects strength and strong leaders.

The fact that Iranians stood their ground against overwhelming odds and went toe to toe with a global super power and a regional nuclear power (evil entity) has rekindled a deep admiration and respect within Trump for Iran. He may not say it openly but his words do leak such feeling.

Compare this with his outburst on Kuwait where he berated them for not able to use US supplied air defence against Iranian missiles lol.

Apart from the evil entity, Trump views all other countries that depend on US for defence with a disdain.

This is the same reason why he views EU with the same lens.
