Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

So, to put it bluntly, this is just a 60-day ceasefire when expired if Orangeman feels talks are going nowhere he will start bombing again and he won't care since by that time all celebrations would be over with as in 250th July 4th celebration.
I doubt it. Orange idiots countless threats and as many dubious climb downs based on weird pretexts has made it obvious to all that he’s got no appetite for more bombing & related impact on the Hormuz and GCC aside from his own economy. It’s been hard work for him to get this off ramp, even he can’t be stupid enough to squander it.

The reconstruction plan should include IRIAF and IRIN

They have to repay what they destroyed, all of it, with the money of the American people

Incredible how you do it. You reply to my post and yet somehow managed to ask questions that have already been answered in the post you're responding too.. How do you do it?
Let me help you. I do it very easily. Since your post didn’t even include the word ‘Hormuz’ I asked you to address that specific issue and more specifically how much funds would be released to get it open. See you never mentioned it so I asked you about it, quite simple in its own way really.
Now why don’t you explain how you answered that specific issue in your post without even using the word ‘’Hormuz’. How do you do that?

Short and on the mark post! Indeed, Trump was not going to launch another major war and kept looking for an offramp, which he finally got. He really had no option to subdue Iran: His Blockade couldn't collapse Iran at least in a desired time frame, he couldn't do carpet bombing without risking the American jets downed, and he couldn't use the nukes.

I think @Ali_Baba already posted the Breaking Point video a few hours ago. A screen cap from that video sums up Israel's defeat--and it is a defeat for which we are likely to see Netanyahu's career ending and he bearing prison days.

WTF are the terms of this so called deal I been trying to suss it out last day or so and it makes no sense at all to me.

I disagree about Hezbollah, I think we learned that these groups are extremely resilient. Look at what Hezbollah suffered already in 2024. 500 airstrikes in 30 minutes, total carpet bombing of every village in the south, loss of their leader and entire leadership, humiliation of pagers explosion, active collaboration between Lebanon, Israel, and USA to destroy Hezbollah, and somehow (thanks in part to IRGC) they emerged somewhat stronger in 2025, and surprised Israel again.

Some of my current thoughts:

- Netanyahu will not agree to a full ceasefire in Lebanon, and will continue to push his luck. It is close to the elections, and he cannot be seen as weak, even if it means pissing off Trump. It will be difficult for Iran to navigate this scenario, and it will remain volatile.

- the 60 days will not lead to a final agreement, since the redlines remain too far apart. this MOU sidesteps the most difficult issues (status of enrichment, etc).

- Iran will not see real sanctions relief. but will have some access to frozen reserves, and de facto relief on oil exports to China.
I don't know. Getting the crap beaten out of you isn't something to brag about in my book.

Hezbollah has entered a dangerous period where it is facing internal pressure and unstoppable Israeli aggression. Unlike the previous times in 2000 and 2006, Hezbollah hasn't been able to fend off Israeli attacks and Israel is occupying a large chunk of Lebanese territory this time. And Iran isn't in a situation help Hezbollah reconstruct Southern Lebanon. Eventually, the popularity of Hezbollah as a resistance movement will decrease.

The topic was $300billion for reconstruction and the claim US taxpayers were going to pay the bill upfront, not Hormuz. How Hormuz will be open only the Whitehouse knows but I have a feeling either Iran opens it freely or talks collapse and conflict resumes but lets see what Whitehouse releases about Hormuz.

Hi Its me Badmash Jagga,

While I welcome the successful electronic signing of the MoU and look forward to the physical ceremony in Geneva, it is deeply disappointing to see Iran once again offer Chabahar Port to India despite Pakistan's consistent support during difficult times. True friendship is tested in moments of crisis, and many Pakistanis will find it hard to understand why their sacrifices, goodwill, and diplomatic efforts appear to be overlooked in favor of strategic arrangements that raise serious security concerns for Pakistan. Nations are free to pursue their interests, but mutual respect and acknowledgment of sincere support should also remain central to regional relationships.

Agree 100% that no way on earth US taxpayers are paying that amount for Iran reconstruction. Don’t know who made that idiotic claim but it wasn’t me.
You said GCC would release funds based on specific actions by Iran like the nuclear issue but didn’t mention opening the Hormuz so I asked about it.
We should agree to disagree but in my view a big amount of frozen Iranian money will be released for opening the Hormuz. Failure to do so will see it closed again which the orange idiot cannot afford.

I was aware of US bases and facilities in the Gulf but never realized it reached this extent!! This can be called an occupation.

There is many a slip between the Cup & Lip.

It’s a shaky deal & most likely a temporary arrangement. Expect war after mid-term elections in US. Iran must prepare & prepare long & hard.

Butthurt Pahlavists will take out their anger on the Iranian football team.

Do any of these pahlavists actually have jobs to go to or is their protesting like a full time job?
