Trump envoy Steve Witkoff told lawmakers that Iran will invite the U.N.’s nuclear watchdog agency to inspect its nuclear sites and begin work on identifying and uncovering the locations of Tehran’s enriched material, which is believed to be buried under rubble.The private briefing was described by two people familiar with the conversation who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity to share the closed-door details.
Witkoff told congressional leadership and members of national security-related committees that the agreement that the U.S. struck with Iran did not include any side deals, but a side letter was drafted between Tehran and the International Atomic Energy Agency extending the invitation.
Witkoff disclosed the existence of the letter and invitation in the briefing, according to the people.
Witkoff said the letter to IAEA Director-General Rafael Mariano Grossi would enable him to bring U.S. nuclear inspectors to Tehran.

well...this entire thread kind of aged like milk. All the talk of how the US was winning...has now been laid bare. One needs to get past the talks because that is politics and look at what is written because that is fact and on the path to becoming law.
Iran exacted excessive concessions and did so because the US blinked first in the blockade match. The SoH blockage is indeed a superweapon...an economic superweapon. This is now widely acknowledged and understood and experienced. This has been so sobering that the dance and tune in Washington has changed so much that they are now openly out of sync with Israel. This is true naked Iranian victory and the world sees it.
You think the US will bomb Iran in the next 60 days?? You can not beat the SoH power now in Iran's hands and you shall do its bidding.

Your understanding is wrong. Assets are unfrozen and sanctions are undone with the MOU being signed. The access to the 300 Billion is for the nuclear deal. Everything you mentioned will be rebuilt except for the nuclear program which they will sign away for a good enough deal.

Interesting, trump says Iran should have some enrichment their neighbors do, they need some missiles to defend themselves, the Saudis have them!
if trump is pragmatic he can get on good terms with the Iranians, I think that is a possibility but he needs to ignore the israel firsters.
