TF-X / KAAN / Hürjet Turkish Fighter & Trainer Aircrafts News & Discussions

No one believed Türkiye could develop all the components for the KAAN. I think it’s completely normal that people had their doubts.

Today, very few people believe we can develop the TF35000, but we will have built one of the top three engines in the world by the mid2030s. People laugh because these things seem impossible to believe. I understand where they are coming from, and I don't think there is any need to insult anyone.

I'm going through your posts. You have valid concerns. The things you mention like Sensor Fusion, Engine. These stuff are not easy to make. This is the point Turkish users in this forum not realising. They fail to see how high Turkish defense industry aims and how hard to get to there.

However, you should also try to understand Turkish users perspective as they have yet to see a Turkish project yet to fail, so they have belief.
Some people are underestimating Turkey, their engineers have decades of experience working on F16s, F35s and other projects, they are very professional, highly trained and ambitious people, they also have great relations with European companies. Turkey will make Kaan successful, the engine is the only issue and it is a difficult project, however they will make it successful. Turkey also has 10 F110-GE-129E for kaan, is working to order another 80.

Even 100+ km GOKDOGAN air to air Missile is enough and in service as of 2026

even KIZILELMA fired 100+ km GOKDOGAN air to air Missile using MURAD-100A AESA Radar
View attachment 202138

No need KAAN
KIZILELMA will be enough to match with the RAFALE in BVR combat

Turkiye can produce 7 KIZILELMA in price of 1 RAFALE
The People still dont realize what's coming
Turkey is already testing Kaan weaponary, missiles, radars on Kilzemia, when Kaan is inducted in 2029 everything else will fall in line.

KAAN and sensor fusion

The process of combining diverse data streams from multiple sensors using artificial intelligence and algorithms to create a situational awareness directly to the Pilot's helmet visor.

if Turkiye hadn't been able to develop even a single system, we wouldn't have been able to bring this technology to life

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

All Systems integrated into Platforms, not just on paper.

We will complete this with software integration using millions of lines of code
We lead the sensor fusion software architecture with AI algorithms

1 -- Aselsan MURAD-600A AESA Radar

It collects location, speed, and trajectory data of long range air and ground targets

-- F-35's AN/APG-81 AESA Radar has 1.626 T/R modules built on GaAs

-- KAAN's MURAD-600A AESA Radar has 2.000+ T/R modules built on GaN

And Turkiye becomes 2nd Country in NATO with its own Fighter Jet with sensor fusion after USA

KAAN by 2029
KIZILELMA by 2026
ANKA-III by 2027

vs

RAFALE
Rafale is a reality, and exported. Even after Sindoor.

KAAN in 2029 ? maybe, but able to make what kind of war scenario?

We saw how they bombed Hamás representatives inside Qatar while waiting the israelí delegation.
Hamas is a terrorist group. Did Hamas annouced its 7th october pogrom ? No precautions with terrorists.

Nice goodies.
Now the deal is to make them work together, with a coherent data fusion.
All data fusion are not the same. in the Swiss eval, the one of Rafale was better than the EF2000 one....

Some People are still unaware of Turkiye's incredible technological achievements

Aselsan's micro sensor fusion for KAAN Fighter Jet called BILGE KAAN

Thanks to Aselsan HAKİM which is the world's one of the most advanced and AI-powered macro sensor fusion software, implemented on a massive scale capable of managing the airspace of entire Turkiye for STEEL DOME

This is a software miracle that only a few countries in the world can achieve

Because , The sensors inside KAAN share the same engineering standards (entirely NATO standards) but HAKIM simultaneously read and combine both NATO standard sensor and data links as well as Russian S-400 AD System to produce a single, flawless recognized Air Picture

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sensor fusion is the mathematical and algorithmic theory behind this work.

Do you know what about MUM-T ?

Good luck to enemies , They will need it
especially older generation RAFALE, F-15EX, F-16V, SU-35, J-10C

As of 2026 , Türkiye is the only country in the world, along with the USA, that tested unmanned combat aircraft technology ( Turkish KIZILELMA and American FQ-44 )

Also , ANKA-4 unmanned stealth Fighter Jet is planned to escort KAAN for MUM-T concept

France should launch a program similar to FCAS as soon as possible, but since it won't be able to put it into service before 2045, France will fall behind countries like the US and Turkiye in NATO

Hamas is a terrorist group. Did Hamas annouced its 7th october pogrom ? No precautions with terrorists.

Hagana was a terrorist group also. And they were the core of the IDF. Israel appointed with them in a third country. And even if they doesn't recognize Hamás, they must observe international rules and not bomb a third country like Qatar.
Stop saying nonsense.

No.
Once France alone, a 2040 entry into service is easy, specially if the 6th gen French fighter is based on the efficient and with a strong road map weapon system of Rafale (with for exemple the RBE2 XG that will be flight tested in 2028).
The developpment of a new frame takes 3 to 4 years, then somes years for tests and industrial ramp up, where a complete, multi role and mature weapon system takes now more in the 15 years (see F35 exemple).
So even 2035 is possible.

France falling behind US : already the case. Behind Turkey, you are a dreamer.

You are real a dreamer

FRANCE
FCAS project is dead
France can not develop 6th gen Fighter before 2045 ( including new Engine )
Only RAFALE .. nothing else

TURKIYE
KAAN with American Engine by 2029
KAAN with indigenous Engine by 2033-2035
200 F-16s will be morednized with MURAD AESA Radar until 2030
29 F-16 Block50+
40 new F-16V
44 Eurofighters until 2030
KIZILELMA unmanned stealth Fighter Jet by 2026
ANKA-III flying wing stealth UCAV by 2027

also Turkiye has started developing the 6th gen Fighter Jet for 2040s
and ANKA-4 unmanned stealth Fighter Jet

I mean frances 6gen fighter will enter service before any turkish one no question about that but Kaan will see full operation capacity before frances 6gen will be introduced in to service. But overall time frame of 10-15 years is correct. f35 was a mess from management and Engineering perspective as have most american post cold war projects have been. Also a question for you did the indians now get the rights to the source code or not for rafale?

So even 2035 is possible.

Now France is left alone, and its bureaucracy is very slow... there is still no official project launched.

1 -- France needs to start developing a new engine with 35.000 lbs .. ( min 15 years )

2 -- France needs to start developing unmanned stealth Fighter Jet for 6th gen war concept .. ( but France lacks this technology )

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

While designing a Fighter Jet fuselage takes an average of 10 years in military aviation, but developing a high-performance jet engine from scratch requires at least 15 years

-- The M88 engine which powers the RAFALE produces 16,500 lbs of thrust. France currently does not have a design for a heavy, next-gen turbofan engine in the 35,000 lbs class.

Even the FCAS project, despite Germany sharing the financial burden, was targeted for after 2045
