Iran may have gambled on Hezb surviving against Israel independently. In fact, not only surviving but inflicting critical harm to Israel's war machine. Hezb are more than capable.

Of course, Israeli "buffer zone" creation in Lebanese lands will remain a problem for which the solution is unclear, unless USA finds some way to enforce their withdrawal.

This is the kind of sick mindset existing in the Israeli society.

Hope people remember this whenever they show any form of sympathy to them.

I always tell people to never anthropomorphize Israelis.
It is one thing to be born an Israeli, but is another thing to stay a citizen of Israel.

Iran has exported nearly 18 million barrels (or $1.44 billion) of crude oil over the past five days.

That’s why Iran stood firm.

Ability to trade its own oil in its own terms.

Not like Iraq and the Arab puppets

Death to USA chant is because USA won’t allow Muslims to trade their own oil in the currency of their choice

Short answer: No. Nobody comes close to Netanyahu's ambition and his manipulation of the American politics. The guy is an institution in himself.

He has been successful in getting the USA to do 7 wars, destroy the middle east that have resulted in the deaths of of millions directly and indirectly from the war and consequences, and get the Americans to waste over 6.4 trillion dollars on wars for him personally. That is impressive, both how a reflection on the US political system and his influence and power ...

That’s why no Jewish state has made it past 100 years.

Truly insane given their 3000 year history.

They are, “a wild donkey, forever at others’ throats”

That figure most likely does not cover the repair to bases? Would be interesting to see the "full bill" that includes the bases as well. The economic effects and its costs will take longer to work out.

I think it will hurt Israel that Iran is gaining so much from this MOU/deal. They will definitely try to disrupt this deal by continuing to occupy southern Lebanon (they might not kill as many people, but might only continue their occupation to provoke Hezbollah to attack them first, and for them to retaliate to those attacks).

But without US backing, Israel’s long term security will be further diminished.

If I were the Iranian regime, I would want this deal to go through and continue. I would want Iran to restrengthen economically, militarily; clandestinely support Hezbollah in Lebanon (which they are still able to do, the FPV drones are proof of that).

When Israel commits further killings over the next few days/weeks, keep warning the US that they are being patient, but the Israelis are undermining Trump’s deal, and they’ll be forced to retaliate.

I think Hezbollah has enough strength and firepower to handle the Israeli land incursions for some time at least.

Residents of southern Lebanon need to return and reclaim their territory, and make the occupation as difficult for the Israelis as possible.
