It is very cunning, every single thing he says... he knows Hamas has no constituency nor finances to compete this vise grip that the lobby holds over US politics.
He's irked on who has the ear of the political decision makers and if he or his minions are included in that process, swiped over or precluded, as the political costs become unbearable despite the effort in propaganda, media machine and money. How Democrats would lose because of this Abstention and not for helping participate in this genocide.
So, They are not fighting Hamas, Palestine or anyone except people's own judgement and innate morality. To subdue and smother their emotions... to make any objections inert ... rationalize the profane and inhumane!
It is worse yet! Because by listening to them you know, that they know what they're doing... with precision and smarts... money and media. Yes, they are indeed a 'parasitic entity'. Colonizers and land-grabbers. And also paranoid! They rule the West and yet portray themselves as so vulnerable to 'Anti-Semitism'. I think Israelis know too well that kicking out 8-9 millions of Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza at one time is unacceptable to the world--and also impractical. They couldn't even sell the so-called Tent City in Sinai idea for the Gazans after October 7. Similarly, I don't put much credence to the theory that that America-build port in Gaza would be used to mass expel the Gazans. The strategy seems to be to either make the odds of any Palestinian sovereignty insurmountable so that the millions of Palestinians and their foreign backers would just accept the fait and move on with their lives as subjugates of Israel, or make the lives so miserable that the Palestinians would emigrate like many who have already left.
But I don't think, going forward, Israel needs a 'resistance'. That backfired on October 7. Netanyahu's Clever by Half strategy had to backfire and it indeed did so spectacularly.
Again, to put it bluntly, Gaza and Hezbollah are the Palestinians' last stand. If they stand, then Israel loses big time and even the nationhood of Israel will be a question mark in that case. The two people are fighting for their very existence and they know it well.

And I think the Dershowitz video even says that Biden's electoral strategy is flawed but I am not sure about that: Yes, there is the Jewish money which is a big factor in America. But in 'swing states', even a few hundred votes can make or break a Presidential bid; note Florida in 2000.
If Trump was smart, he'd not be just content with the 'Non Committed' voters leaving Biden: He would fake some 'balance' to make the Muslims/Arabs vote for him to seal Biden's fate. Hey, why not: Politicians globally lie all the time.

This is just the same thing like in Indonesia, Pakistan, Bd, etc just we are in the opposite camp and supporting Palestinians.
This is also why Indonesia gov never condem Hamas as well despite politically our gov never have strong relation with Hamas like Malaysia, Qatar, and Turkey. In the opposits, Indonesia gov is a strong supporter of Fatah since long time ago and prefer peaceful and non military strategy when it comes to this issue.
So this is why I see Biden and all US President will always support Israel, unless majority of US turn into something else (atheist is the most probably likelihood for Western culture as main rival of Christianity)

Yes, 'mowing the grass' was the Netanyahu strategy and that was the 'resistance' that Israel needed and that strategy majorly backfired on October 7. The idiots thought Gazans would be given some 'jobs' in Israel as morsels to placate them but the real issue/is the West Bank and the Gazans were watching the events in the WB very closely.
I hate Netanyahu and I think at least part of his policy in Gaza is personally tied to his future--and recently Chuck Schumer also alluded to that. But I'd say that Netanyahu or his replacement have no choice but to get the 'total victory' in Gaza and then gravely damage Hezbollah after that. As long as the Gazans would be able to fire even one rocket into Israel, the communities around Gaza would feel unsafe and being 'unsafe' in the Promised Land is the last thing any Israeli would want. So either Israel totally wins or come to its senses and make a political deal with the Palestinians; those choices are above and beyond Netanyahu now.
