AJK govt bans Joint Awami Action Committee, notification issued

Vast majority of people in Azad Kashmir do not support to the JAAC goons. Initially there was some public support for this gang just because they were previously able to negotiate for cheaper electricity and other commodities for them. Quite natuarlly, people would support anyone who could bring them financial benefits. However, the JAAC lost the public support when its goons started talking non-sense of 'foreign forces' leave Azad Kashmir and attacking state offices/hospitals/vehicles.

It was an eye-opere for the common people when the goons of JAAC started seeking dead bodies to stir a deeper disturbance. That's why whole Azad Kashmir, with the exception of Rawalakot, quickly returned to normal life within days. Even in Rawlakot, people started disassociating and leaving the protest. To cope with the dwindling public support, these goons then started bringing in their families and kids to the protest place. Now hardly a thousand or so people are still present for protest in Rawlakot and that too in make-shift manner.

No state can allow anyone to gather a few thousand people and start blackmailing it. While the right to have a peaceful protest cannot be legally denied but, at the same time, those who use weapons for killing people and resort to destroy public and private property must be handled with iron fist. The main culprits of JAAC must face the law and justice.

It is worth noting that the so-called leadership of JAAC comprises of three types of people. Some of them come from traders and others are from the JKLF group while the remaining are criminals, smugglers, and mafias (especially tobacco mafia). The traders were only there for blackmailing the state government and Pakistan for more 'concessions' and the mafia was active to protect their illegal businesses/smuggling. The JKLF goons practically highjacked it to pursue their political goals.

The JKLF has always played a dubious role in the Kashmir dispute. It's the same group that highjacked an Indian plane on 30 January 30 1971, many think at the behest of Indian RAW, to allow Indians stop direct flights between East and West Pakistan. Even in the Indian occupied J&K, JKLF's role has been rogue to say the least. Its leader Yasin Malik, currently serving jail in India, has reportedly admitted/claimed in his statement submitted as part of his appeal against his court sentence, to have worked for RAW for years. Indians have always been deep-rooted in JKLF to use this outfit for their evil missions.

One can recall the claims made by some Indian ministers a few months ago that Azad Kashmir would fall into Indian lap like a ripe fruit. Now looking at the dirty play that JKLF has played in disguise of JAAC, it's clear what Indians were actually working on at the time of their evil claims. The JAAC a poly of the enemy that needs to be crushed with iron fist. It was a blunder on the state government's behalf to previously withdraw the criminal cases against the JAAC goons for grave crimes and terrorism they committed last year. These criminals must face the law and justice to deter the mafias, cults, and goons from gathering a few thousand people to blackmail the state.

Not going to read all that

Pakistan needs to make a decision

Either Pakistan ends this "disputed territory" nonsense or let these clowns of ajk deal themselves with india and indian army

Too much of Pakistani blood and money has been spent on these guys anyways and in return Pakistan is only getting filthy abuses and threats. This needs to end
