yes, it's very important for Iran that Congo doesn't win. If Congo loses or draw and either Austria or Algeria wins, then Iran qualifies for the next round.

@Persian Gulf As expected, Croatia is ahead 1-0. I told you, there's no chance on paper that Ghana would defeat Croatia for us. Besides the fact that Croatia is a better team, Ghana needs to be 3rd to avoid going to Canada.

Our one and only hope is Austria vs Algeria, and I'm counting on Austrians instead of Algerians because contrary to what they say, I doubt Algerians are looking for a revenge. They'd be happy with a draw, unless Austria tries to defeat them.

Unfortunately, we f*cked up really bad against New Zealand and the second half of the match against Egypt.

Yeah, I am extremely pleased by the performance of Uzbekistan. There's a high chance that they will score another goal and win the match.

Sad to see them eliminated because they didn't play more defensively against Portugal. They're a good team. They played 3-4-3, but they closed half-spaces well, their defense never collapsed or created holes, and they pressed Congolese defenders in the first 30 minutes brilliantly and effortlessly.

If anything, they deserve to go the next round more than teams like Iran that played cowardly even when they needed to score.

If Uzbekistan stops Congo in this match, we've advanced to the next round and we will face Switzerland on Friday (July 3rd), which is fortunately one of the weakest European teams in the tournament.
