No I agree with you any act to take out sitting president of the United states of America would be suicidal to the population of that country it wouldn’t be surgical strikes with supposedly minimal collateral damage(if we go by trumps words he’s not attempting surgical hits anymore but destroying as much civilian infrastructure as possible)but they would commit to massive bombings of cities turning them into rubble.

Iran is under attack by a vastly superior Force, now would be the time to strike the enemy with overwhelming Force.

KSA, UAE and Oman have alternatives. They don't entirely depend on SOH. They will not starve. Even in the war, KSA and UAE kept selling their oil, although not at pre-war levels.

SOH closure do effect them but not to the extent that you are saying. They will earn billions even with limited sales which is still higher then most rich countries if you see per capita wealth coming into the countries. Not to mention, wealth accumulated before that is already a lot.

The ones who gets most effected are Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Iraq.

Iran is fighting the world's military superpower. it is not a fair fight between equals.
