That was actually my point, the article is nothing to do with economic output per se, these are intangible assets unrelated to economic output.

Sometimes you need to have some self awareness to know when you self pwn yourself.

Himadri's real strength is battery materials. They built their graphite anode technology through 14 years of in-house R&D, know-how from scratch and it's now reached commercial production. They're expanding into LFP cathode materials too but their core expertise is still carbon chemistry and making high-quality anode materials at scale.

They got wiped out by Indian and East Asian car makers but they're trying to restart their manufacturing in India. Ford cars a quite rare on the streets. Most cars are Suzuki.
