Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

I can’t take Iran seriously when they allow defenseless tankers to run around the Persian Gulf.

This is why this current “war” is a bunch of scripted theatrics. While Iranian air defenses and air force are severely degraded. It doesn’t take much (a drone with a manpad) to hit a tanker that’s flying.

So clearly there are “lines”, that Iran doesn’t wish to cross. Instead we get the same attacks toward Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan. While Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and Even UAE gets spared.

They will be protected by F-22s and F-35's, you just can't see them.

The issue(disappointment) is why do the PGCC still continue allow the use of their airbases and airspace to support these attacks on Iran.

The last prophet was Arab. His whole family was Arab. The most respected figures of Islam were Arabs. Arabs defeated two super powers Roman and Persian empires once upon a time.

They were indeed Arabs but Arabs are not of them (old saying).

The coming of the Great Prophet (pbuh) and his Brave Companions was the greates lot out of universal lottery for those Arabs.

No way out for either side. Iran has an immense geographical advantge and willingness to absorb hits, US is the greatest military power the earth has ever seen.

They can both go bombing each other for maybe years, world economy will suffer but adapt eventually.

Both will end up at exactly the same place they are at now

LMAO!!!!

You seem to have misunderstood what the US was doing. Take some time and watch the first 10 minutes of this video to see why the MoU was DoA.

I saw some of that video; the great Chas Freeman had been calling it 'The Memorandum of MISUnderstanding' from day one.
But I still had some hopes of the truce lasting longer--at least till past the Mid Terms. But long term, as I have been saying multiple times: As long as both Trump and Netanyahu are in their respective offices, there can't be much hope for peace. The uniquely toxic combination of leadership is finally in place to see what we are seeing. May God help us all.

On Netanyahu, there are reports that Saudi Arabia has accepted to join the Abraham Accords provided that Netanyahu is no longer in power. Let's see if Israel and the US are willing to sacrifice him over bringing Saudi Arabia into the accords.

Had former President Ahmadinejad been working with them, they would not have been sharing this info publicly. This is disinformation on their part.

Sounds like disinformation, especially knowing the character of Ahmadinejad but I don't see what purpose it serves to (finally) disclose this story? Shortly after this war started in Feb., there was some news about Ahmadinejad targeted. NY Times is generally a credible source and took months after that to come up with this story, which is embarrassing for Mossad, if you think about it. Maybe Ahmadinejad was working for Iran to dupe Mossad.

One day we will find out.

Iran’s Widest Gulf Strike Hits Four States as BeiDou Kills US Jamming Defense

> Cross posting from the Iranian Missile thread as it is relevant to this war.

The IRGC Aerospace Force primarily used Zolfaghar short-range ballistic missiles — a single-stage, solid-propellant weapon derived from Iran's Fateh-110 family, with a range of approximately 700 kilometers. The Zolfaghar's guidance has been upgraded to use China's BeiDou-3 satellite navigation system, which uses frequency-hopping and encryption that analysts say maintains roughly 98 percent accuracy even under heavy US electronic warfare jamming. That upgrade is what makes current Zolfaghar strikes qualitatively different from earlier Iranian ballistic-missile salvos: jamming that previously degraded missile accuracy no longer reliably does so.

This article is worth reading as it suggests to terminal guidance changes for Iran's missiles recently.

Chamran, Member of the City Council of Tehran, confirms that the US has targeted power plants and electricity infrastructure of Iran, which has caused power outage in Iranian cities, including Tehran.

It’s clear both sides used the MoU for their own respective reasons.
  • Iran to get its oil out and open missile tunnel and bases and empty oil storage tanks
  • U.S. to get the floating oil on tankers out and bring oil prices down and replenish its existing military bases
It doesn’t appear either party trusted that the other would actually negotiate faithfully. Both sides are going for a showdown over Hormuz. Let’s see which side blinks.

A little unfair: Iran would have abided by the MOU because it was a clear winner IF the MOU was followed but Iran could not trust the Trump/Netanyahu combo. There is no way Netanyahu is going to stop from trying to achieve his lifelong plans as long as Trump is in power.

Netherland is involved

This is the essence of Rubio's speech last year. Colonization is back!
They couldn't paint it any other way...
And now he has to say it out loud.
