Got every door and window open. The cool breezes are nice.

Shut in for the fourth day in a row.

Black kitten I rescued two weeks ago is really beginning to show progress. Caught him chasing a spider across the kitchen floor.

Two weeks ago he was blind in both eyes and had internal injuries (likely attacked by a dog).

Been feeling him up, checking his bones and muscles. Possible spine out of place. Think I can get it back in place, but will wait another month for swelling to go down.

He now recognizes the sound of a Mason jar being opened and run for the kitchen like the other cats.

Midnight is going to be a really good cat. Going to keep helping him get better and hope I find him a home.

Don't tell anyone. Just renewed my lease, agreeing "my ONE cat will live outside". Now have four cats I have rescued.

So the furnace in my parent's old house has finally kicked the bucket (A/C unit still works)..and it was installed...geez probably 40 years ago by this guy...but we never made it onto a TV episode.
