Why does it matter whether Arabs acted unilaterally or as client states?

Iran has refused to become a US client state.

This is not acceptable to the US.

And the Arabs are actively facilitating those attacks.

But you want Iran to focus on the handlers instead of the poodles.

I find your logic (usually extremely sound) very baffling.

Pak needs the whole situation with Iran to come to a positive conclusion for the region where hostilities cease then look at possible defence partnership and pacts, doing right now IMO is not the right time. If they want talks sure but dont sign anything until there is peace otherwise your walking into a fire from the start.
