Operation Ghazab Lil Haq (Pakistan - Afghanistan War)

Their own country is on fire with both Western provinces disputed by separatist militants to the point they are releasing clownish staged videos pretending they are killing militants, yet they keep signing more defence pacts that they will probably not even be able to honour.

These pacts are vital for the not only Pakistans future, but also the regions future

This will super charge our military, bring in vital investment and allow us to establish shared military equipment,. including Pakistani weapons based in those countries

India is our real enemy and pushing them and planning against them is vital and this is part of the process

Afghans and Baloch are a different issue,
It's a deep seated ethnocentric issue, that we have to deal with over time,

If you just send them back they learn nothing,

Make it a death sentence for entering Pakistan and others will learn

I think it's safe to say the Pakistani military doesn't have the conviction or willpower to deal with the separatist problem. They are just trying to cheaply manage it by censoring all information coming out and doing basic "intelligence operations", while the militants continue to dispute territory and carry out geurilla attacks.

The problem with the brown sepoy military is that it has no true sense of nationalism to make it truly want to go on the offensive which requires putting in a lot effort and wanting to secure territory.

Any serious international player (Turkey, China, India) would have initiated an emergency in the province and surged forces but they don't mind sitting back doing censorship because they only want to do the bare minimim job and leech off the state's resources in their fancy mess buildings.

These are just civilians.

The narco smuggling kingpins and their workers must get VIP treatment from the locals at the border.
As is always the case. When I worked in Kabul let me tell you, the small time peddlers were making a few million dollars per annum off heroin, the actual trade was worth 1.5Billion USD per year, where do you think that lion share was going?

To the warlords and their chums who got into Afghan Parliament and wrecked the country 😂

Ata Omar: The act of Sultan Mahmud Ghaznavi in destroying idols was a mistake, and respect must be shown to all religionsAfghanistan's Minister of Agriculture Ata Omar said during a speech in India that Sultan Mahmud Ghaznavi had made a mistake by destroying idols. He stated that respect must be shown to all religions and that people should respect each other's religious beliefs.

His remarks have faced widespread reactions on social media and have been commented on by various sides.

Turkey is an excellent case study
Srilanka
Even India is good case study how to deal with difficult insurgency

Pakistan is also an excellent case study on incompetence and total failure
Turkish and Indian population says.. kill them all. their polical parties lead this narrative.
Pakistani population says they are are our brothers. political parties lead this narrative and cus the operations against operations.

see the difference.?

Right on Turkey

Wrong on India

The Indians use a good carrot and stick policy plus had competent people lead their anti-insurgency efforts.

While there maybe an argument about KPK and how political space was provided to Taliban, the military and the intelligence agencies have been in complete control on how they want to deal with Balochistan. They have launched projects like BAP, and they decide who and how Balochistan is governed.

No political party has any say on what goes on there. It is a total and a complete failure of the security establishment and a great indictment of their competence at the leadership level.

Owen Jones discusses Pakistan and only invites Obaidullah for his one-sided Afghan hot take regarding this conflict? Can you all connect the dots, can you see the games being played outside our borders?

A lot of Pakistanis have their attention focused on the US war in Iran and how Pakistan can rescue the gulf... Rescue yourself first.

We need to be decisive and deal with this problem inside our own border and on our western border once and for all. We cannot allow the threat of frozen conflict on our Eastern flank, hostile entities on to our west - who are facilitating terrorism groups inside Pakistan...

Because as the gulf starts to heat up and things get more desperate, you can bet your chip that our leaders are going to make a strategic mistake and end up embroiled in something that is not our fight.

Coming back to the topic of terrorism inside Pakistan and its root origins (Afghanistan & India). What are the current thoughts of members here?

Over past 24 hours IBOs have been conducted in:
  • Dera Ismail Khan
  • Bannu
We have seen a policy of TTP apologists using the narrative of victimhood - in this forum as well you would have seen people sharing this messaging.

The Taliban have been reciving coaching from India and launched their English language magazine Al Mirsaad. This magazine is primarily a propaganda platform used to praise the Taliban and their efforts inside Afghanistan and that their only mission is to govern Afghanistan, we as Pakistanis know that this is not the case as they have made mention many times that the Kabul government neither recognizes nor respect internationally established borders and boundaries:

So, focusing solely on Pakistan - we are faced with a hostile neighbor who is wholly fixed on capturing the entirety of Pakistan, supports both overtly and covertly terrorists operating inside Pakistan and now has become closer to Russia and India.

Since the Taliban have gained some diplomatic acceptance, Pakistan is often painted by the Taliban and their mouthpieces as aggressors and this vlog by Owen Jones is a perfect example of a buffoon who has no understanding of the dynamics here getting involved in and giving credence to Taliban deflection.

Taliban often deconstruct any allegations of supporting terrorism by claiming they are fighting AQN and ISIL, this is simply not the case, Pakistan has documented evidence of the Taliban government in Kabul allowing the free flow of militants from ETIM, IMU, TTP among others.

In the 137 articles published in Al-Mirsaad, TTP is only mentioned FOUR times. This editorial silence is crucial to understand the machinations of India and their newfound bedfellows in Kabul.

Pakistan has been crystal clear that TTP sanctuary is the central justification for military operations against Afghanistan, yet just like their masters in Kabul, the editorial team of this "magazine" refuse to engage with the subject. Simply put this is selective framing, and as Pakistanis we are familiar with this tactic deployed oft by our Indian neighbors.

It doesn't take the editor of a broadsheet to understand what is going on here. Its lamentable that despite this clear and present anti-Pakistan narrative and gaining readership among certain sections in the West, our commentators and opinionators in Mass Media, social media and printed media refuse to tackle this weaponized deflection and implication campaign targeted against Pakistan.
