Rumors of negotiations have always turned out to be true, going back many years. And the Iranians bent over backwards time after time.

There is nothing to negotiate:

U.S. wants Iran to give up the strait

iran knows if it gives up the strait it will have ZERO leverage over Israel and the U.S. in the future to keep them fulfilling their commitments

Thus at the current draw rate SPR doesn’t hit 200-250 till probably October. Trump knows this. Iran knows this. So they are playing a game of chicken. Trump thinks Iran under a blockade will cave before he has to cave.

The wild card will be Bab Al Mandeb and if that accelerates the SPR Weekly draw. Too early to tell likely gonna need to see 2 or 3 weeks of data to see what the impact is

Remember how prior to the ceasefire the govt and their poodles like prof. marandi were vehemently denying such talks taking place? It's going to be the same rodeo all over again. The worse part is, this war can drag on ad infinitum where there will be 2 weeks fighting, then 2 weeks of ceasefire, and so forth. It will go in the history books as one of the most retarded to ever occur.

The Houthis said they targeted those two tankers with a number of cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and drones at the same time, causing huge balls of fire on board those ships and devastation of course.

The Houthis framed the attack as part of a tit-for-tat campaign against Saudi Arabia. They’re calling it a “siege-for-siege.” They said it has been 12 years since Saudi Arabia has been imposing a siege on the Yemeni people, and that it is now time for Yemen and the Houthis to respond in kind.

So you want them to start launching while the enemy aircrafts are flying overhead? You keep commenting the same stuff right after every attack that Iran isn’t responding or Iran is taking too long, and each time you go back and eat your words about Iran not retaliating.

@Persian Gulf is there a way you can give this one a time out? He’s been polluting this thread with nonsense each time there’s an attack.

I think the interceptor shortage the US is facing is a bigger factor here than the Strait of Hormuz. The US/Israel produce far too little for an actual war.

I think the Houthi warriors wanted to make an statement, not just wasting weapons. Probably the symbolism of the attack was we'll hit you from all directions with whatever we have.
