I already told you, I talk with facts and I can talk at length at subject.
Our relationship with US is similar to what a super power relation had with 80+ countries. They were doing business with almost whole of world. We were never special for them.
Yes we became special at times because of our geography. India was ally of USSR, so obviously we were left out choice. They were our "ally" when we were needed against soviets but then they ditched us, put sanctions on us and then again we were needed in afghanistan. Even when we were needed with afghanistan and we became front line state in War on Terror, the US was busy doing trade deals with india, making nuclear deals with india, including india in QUAD and many other strategic setup, giving india sensitive military technology like P-8s, Apaches etc but for Pakistan even denying helicopter engines (even we were helping at that time). Even recently, US administration formally pitched india for F-21 and even F-35s. So,.......
Whatever I wrote is a tiny bits. If you get in details you will see the real US-pak relationship and how mean it was. We were always a tissue paper. US president Bush who was buddy of Mushrraf told Obama in his farewell note that remember india is our friend and Pakistan is not. This is coming at the time when we had the biggest collaboration going on. It tells us our worth.
