Yes agree in broad lines. And no, none of those countries will start a full war, none of their populations want it, the goverments of Pakistan and Turkey also don't want a 20 year civil war on their doorsteps, especially Pakistan with it's Baluchistan problems.

Iran needs to break through the blockade, I think now is as good a time as any to target US military ships. The straits (plural) are closed, Iran won't collapse in a few months or even years, but the straits can't remain closed for months or years. The world, especially Asia is hurting real bad with the fuel shortages.

Either fully escalate, or sink ships. The US in 2026 can't even stomach hundreds of dead military, let alone thousands. There needs to be a large casualty event. This needs to be the goal and I think it's a navy thing.

In a high-intensity war involving NATO allies like England, Australia, and the EU, Iran's missile arsenal could deplete in months rather than years. Furthermore, U.S. strikes on Iran's power grids and plants would cause long-term setbacks, significantly hindering its ability to manufacture drones and missiles.
