Reuters: Iran to Receive First Batch of Chinese MANPADS Within Weeks

Either you learned nothing in defense forums OR you deliberately talk like that.

Why on earth we will fly it over Indian airspace ? Its meant to release stand off weapon from safe distance. Secondly, its another important role is over Afghanistan and Pak-AFG border.

Saudis flew it over Houthis maybe not realizing that houthis had capability to hit a slow moving aircraft. Houthis can't do it against fighter jet.

BTW, I agree that Pakistan shouldn't have bought Akini when it was already building Shahpur III. There's no excuse to spend money on UCAVs for foreign vendors. This sector must be completely in-house (Which it is largely though except few examples from Turkey and China).
I've yet to read a reasonable point from him apart from broken English and foul mouthed triades.

That is a wrong view. Iran's position is that it has full sovereignty and does not allow any negotiations. When China supports the two sides' negotiation — which is the UAE's position — it has already chosen the UAE's side. There is nothing more to discuss about this.
Keep in mind that neither the UAE nor Iran is an ally of China. The only country with which China has a mutual defense treaty is North Korea. The reality is that, compared to Iran, China places greater importance on its relationship and interests with the UAE.

Just look at the reactions of both sides and you will know which side China is on. The UAE readily agreed to issue a joint statement with China, while Iran reacted with anger and rejection. Just look at how these two countries responded — you will know exactly which side China is on.
Iran wants China to take on Iranian position that the islands belong to Iran. They think the islands are theirs since they are now under Iran's control and there is no dispute on the matter. But, China acknowledges there is a dispute but doesn't recognize they out right belong to UAE. China's position is what UAE is more likely to accept since it is the weaker party and is not in possession of the islands, so UAE is willing to negotiate to settle but Iran is not. So, China's position is somewhat closer to UAE approach to solve the dispute but China doesn't support UAE claim of sovereignty of the islands. That's why Iran is upset with China's position.

Senior Iranian military officials have claimed that Iran has a well-developed defense industry and robust military research and development capabilities, making Chinese weapons unnecessary for Iran.

The Iranian are too proud and arrogant to buy any military equipment from China.

It is difficult to know where the hold up is on Iran buying systems from China is., ie China or Iran. However, given what they have gone through, they will need to rethink their posture and weapons procurements pipeline and China may have to become part of that pipeline if China is will and 'sanctions' do not get in the way.

Against Arabs .....right ?
Because thats what iran is fighting against.

Could you show me where I've veered off topic here? or cracked jokes on this topic?

Most of the Chinese topics are fanboy fantasies/ fake news.
@RescueRanger is talking about every other thread you bless with your weird comments using vile language against Muslims and the Chinese.

You talked s*it on the Chinese constantly. How do you know their tech doesn’t work? As I recall many professional, impartial analysts are confirming that Iran is using the Beidou for its targeting and it’s been effective.

Chinas tech is the direct challenger to the U.S. tech and you want us to believe it doesn’t work or it’s subpar?

I’ve said it before and I’ll repeat it again, you def smell like an Indian troll deliberately fanning disinformation against Islamic nations as well as China.

Iran boasts highly developed military industry and military technology. Examples include its domestically developed fighter jets such as the Qaher-313 and the Saeqeh.
Militarily Iran has no need for military support from China whatsoever.

Iran's Qaher-313 and Türkiye's Kaan are regarded as the most advanced fighter jets in the Islamic world

Why would China supply those manpads and arm the IRGC terrorists only to disrupt international trade and also get US ire?

Turkiye is a KEMALIST nation, not Islamic. get it right.

But tell me, why did China basically betray Iran in their hour of need? You all promised big alliance of Iran, Russia, China against evil NATO, but when real war comes, you all very quiet like a mouse.

Both the Qaher-313 and KAAN have produced prototype aircraft.

Judging from their PowerPoint presentations and prototype demonstrations, they appear equally advanced.

The only additional capability KAAN has demonstrated is taxiing, takeoff, and landing.

Iran is never an ally or strategic partner of China, but an economic partner. The two are never close or have any alliance treaty, so there is no such thing as betrayal by China. It's Americans that group together China, Russia, Iran and NK as axis of evil, lol.
