Imran Khan 3 years in solitary confinement

If offered, IK should take exile deal and leave the country and wait the time.

Weird thing about time: it changes all the time.

field marshal naani will make sure it will never happen
she has no say in it. Option might still be available for him and he should had taken it couple of years back and waited for the right time to strike back. Its getting too late for him now though dismal performance of current set up will not let people forget him.

My dear, with all due respect, I don't think people continue to support him because of the current government's performance alone. The bigger reason, in my opinion, is that many people believe the cases against him were politically motivated rather than based on solid evidence. Instead of appearing fair and logical, they came across as an attempt to humiliate not only him but also the people who voted for him—as if to say, "know your limits."

Ironically, those cases strengthened his support instead of weakening it.

The issue isn't whether people will forget. The real issue is whether actions are seen as fair and justified. Even if future governments perform well, it's unrealistic to assume people will simply forget what they see as disrespect toward their elected leader and, by extension, toward their own democratic choice.

Yes you are right but support doesn't matters in Pakistan since these corrupt and satanic dictator doesn't care about electoral votes. There is no escaping for the nation and IK from this corrupt and military run system.

He brought it upon himself, with such Naivety and lack of political acumen. No doubt he was a populist leader, but clearly didnt heed past historical
Lessons from ayub to bhutto to zia to these current goons……politics is not for honest people…..

Good analysis. I didn't care much for project PTI , but the way he has been smeared, harassed and unfairly jailed since 2022 is why I have become a supporter.

Constitutionalism is the solution to Pakistan's problems, not army or bureaucracy.

why can't his peerni wife help him via some Wazifa? Jokes aside, he is classic example of a potential good leader falling victim of his own ego and narcissist behavior.

We all lacked that acumen. We also thought that the Army or other services would not fire on peaceful protestors. Did you ever consider the AJK fiasco?

It's amazing how you people justify a man being arrested and imprisoned on false cases.

Unlike you people - he is a man of his word. He won't bow, he won't accept any deals. He will die in prison if needed, because he has convictions.

All you pseudo-intellectuals passing off tyranny as if it's the changing of the tide.

Imran Khan and genuine PTI were under estimated by the Establishment and have proven their mettle. Now Establishment is stuck between PTI and useless PML/PPP , with fires raging in 3 regions.

I say let Establishment stew in their own juices.
Establishment is compromised bunch and has been infiltrated in all the top ranks…. Expect nothing good from it.. this is just a reminder i have been saying this for 3 years and one can see what’s happening… leave that country while you can

I left long ago because of lack of educational and economic opportunities. But fact is that most people will not be able to leave. This is a country of 250 million.
