Pakistan Defence/Securities Agreement and Cooperation - Middle East.

Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye on Friday signed the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, reaffirming their commitment to collective security, defence cooperation and regional stability, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).

According to the ministry, the agreement establishes a framework for collective deterrence against acts of aggression and stipulates that an armed attack against any one of the three signatory states will be regarded as an attack against all three.

The ministry said the pact was guided by the three countries' "longstanding historical ties", the "enduring bonds of brotherhood and Islamic solidarity" and their shared strategic interests and defence cooperation.

It added that the agreement reflects their "shared commitment to further strengthening their collective security" and to promoting "peace, security and stability in the region and beyond, in pursuit of a secure and prosperous future."

The agreement also provides for enhanced cooperation across all aspects of defence between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye, the Foreign Office said.

Israel started this war hoping the could shape the region to it's will and topple Iran. Instead they have got a nightmare, the start of an Islamic NATO with nuclear weapons. Credit to Salman, Erdagon and Sharif/Munir. All three put aside differences to make this happen

❝The agreement aims to strengthen collective deterrence against all forms of aggression and stipulates that an armed attack carried out against any one of the three states shall be considered an attack against all three❞

Yup, this is what happens when Muslim nations put aside their differences. Now look at the 4 main countries that will oppose this. UAE, India, Israel and Iran, and you realise all 4 had a vested interest in Muslim world being divided.

Cope on here for next few weeks will be immense....

Iran could've been a valuable player but unfortunately that won't happen.

They made their bed, they can lie in it. Eventually they may make a few bucks from tolls, but long term they will slide into irrelevence, no one trusts them now

I would rather see a stable Iran than a unstable one, Chahbhar is gone and with that Indian accessibility to use that port to spread terrorism, Iran has to live in this region with the people of this region, they can't be like Israel who live in ME, call themselves middle eastern when it suits them but want every perk of being a European. Iran neighbors are Arabs, Saudi's, Qatari's, etc so once the war is over, better to learn to live with peace than create issues, and this goes to all sides.

Trust has gone now, as long as Iran has it's missiles, Saudis and Qataris will never feel safe. Cannot blame them.

Pakistani nukes are basically the ultimate breakstop in any future war against the new alliance

I don't want these nations to just add or see Pakistan as just for its nukes, Pakistan bring much more to the table than nukes, PAF is by far one of the best trained Air force in the world, have proven record. With right equipment and Strategy they can take on any major regional power headon.

No, all I am saying is that the nukes will be the ulitimate guarantor. For sure PAF already in Saudi proving its worth, Turks now Pakistani pilots very well...

Agreed, TuAF pilots are very skilled due to their training and exercise with USAF/EU countries, now PAF entry into Kingdom will further enhance this PACT. Pakistan is capable of fighting its enemy aka India, all we need is flow of oil/resources, we have manpower and equipment, Turkiye doesn't need Pakistan's help against Greece or even Israel, they are more than capable, and if Israel threaten Turks with Nuclear weapons then we know what will happen. KSA is right now at its weakest point due to its position and vast territory and all the fcuk-ups that is happening around them, so they are one needed most physical help but they hold the most resources, so its a very good balance alliance.
