Makkah Joint Defense Agreement: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, news & updates

I don't think anyone disagrees with your wish but its more with your optimism. Which one of us would not like to see a Muslim NATO? but its just too fictional to believe this pact is that.
I wish you are right and I am wrong.

The biggest regional problem is this: Israel, instead of becoming a refuge for the Jewish refugees fleeing Europe after WW II, became an entity to make tons of generational money to some elites in European and American societies. If the purpose was the use a dagger in a region to make the money, then that purpose was inherently violent. And it was backed by a Superpower--a Hyperpower. But violence is not any race, any nation's monopoly: As Human beings, we all learn!

And as careful as I am in my 'predictions', the Israel Project is about done. They could, if they live to be part of the region, still salvage themselves and live to live in their 1948 borders. Otherwise, I really think they are doomed. Notice how little the Israelis talk about the 1948, the 1967, or the 1973 wars? Notice how little the Israelis post to 'Comments' to their own news outlets in last 1-2 years? Notice the flight of Israelis out of Israel? All those speak of a defeated nation, of a defeated ideology. Even the AIPAC in America doesn't bring up 'Israel' as much despite planning to spend twice for the 2026 Midterms.

UAE and Egypt currently oppose Islamists like MB so they stayed out from this, Pakistan is a small player except the military angle. Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain will be next, and if UAE, Egypt change their policies they will too join, plus Syria once it becomes stable.
Where is the MB in this alliance? no , we stayed out of this alliance because it's not intended for israel or the west , it's intended to ruin the middle eastern nations more.
we won't join trust my words.

Your understanding of military alliance is at fault.

You don't go automatically war with Yemen because they send missiles at Saudi Arabia. First of all Saudi Arabia needs ask for help, only after then you choose to go help. And it's not like you need to invade Yemen. You send a contingent of your choosing, maybe a brigade maybe some air defense units, maybe humanitarian aid contingent.

That's how NATO's article 5 operates. When US attacked in 9/11, they invoked article 5. Turkish military went to Afghanistan too but only with a non-combatant brigade to give humanitarian aid to Afghans, like offering free healt-care to Afghan people, teachers operating schools, etc.
maybe maybe maybe maybe etc.
you don't know anything about Saudis or the gulf ,all you do is just typing nonsense.

the saudis always want someone who defend them and to use them as cannon fodders , they tried to use us against houthis but we understood it and withdrew our troops , they used the moroccan and houthis shot down a moroccan f-16 and the pilot got killed , they used the sudanese and plenty of them died in yemen etc.

turkey has no experience in wars and will probably get its ass kicked by houthis..

Yet can’t send bread and water to Gaza

I am afraid it is formed to contain Ansarallah in Yemen in order to breach blockade imposed by them of saudi oil exports and deterence for Iran once they are attacked again by ziocrusaders.

There is no scenario where Saudis or Saudi coalition prevails unscathed. The cumulative will be a devastated Saudi Arabia.
Are they willing to pay a price both in blood and treasure that will may cause irreparable damage?
They're suffering from the case of skewed wealth distribution where their adversary has nothing comparable to lose. Instead they could've invested or partnered on things where there was a potential of mutual gain and equal loss.
They didn't!

On a side note, it is my opinion that Pak should somehow extract the knowhow from our Iranian brothers' missile capabilities. That's what you call battle tested and proven stuff. I hope behind the scenes our Generals are on it (if they're not too busy building DHAs)

LOL, what battle tested bro ? Nuclear program destroyed, leaders killed, Israel / US can hit anytime from up, left, right and bottom. Yes Iran is very resilient and has a lot of stamina to absorb punishment but its military capability is not its strength. Its strengths are its resilience and geography. The Strait of hormuz literally passes under the nose of Iran. That is only reason, Iran is able to hit at commercial ships and forcing the strait to close. Without that geography advantage war would have been over long ago.

In first phase of war, Israel killed 1000s of Iranians and Iran was able to kill 23 Israelis. That's all. Secondly, ballistic missiles as your only arsenal is not sustainable. Each ballistic missile costs millions of dollars. Its like wasting nearly a space rocket every single time. Also most of those gets intercepted anyways. Air Power is the centerpiece of modern warfare. Not only you can defend your own airspace against enemy but you can use air launched stand off munition which is sustainable way for warfare. Pakistan has plethora of air launched weapons, it's going to be one of Asia's most deadliest submarine force (AIP equipped & weapons like YJ-18s / baburs), Also our recent BMs are super accurate with bulls eye accuracy, our long range BMs are only for strategic delivery but they are more advance. We have MiRVs a single missile capable to carry warheads for different targets.

So, Pakistan can learn lessons from Iran war overall but capabilities wise Iran is not even in the same league as Pakistan. We have everything they have not the other way around. Overall Iran has fought the war well given circumstances and shown great resilience and made full use of their geographic advantages.

It will be interesting to see how the new Saudi-Pakistan-Turkey alliance responds to the Houthis attacks.

Pakistan dispatched another consignment of humanitarian supplies to Gaza on Thursday as part of measures to provide Palestinians with life-saving aid following Israel’s invasion of the enclave.

America would never allow in a million years such a defensive bloc being formed within the AOR of CENTCOM if the bloc was targeted at israel.

Guess what, America also would never allowed in million years for a muslim country to become nuclear power. On top America of today is not even a shadow of Super Power that it was in 1990s. It was a super power with TOTAL hegemony and no challenger in sight. It had complete dominance in every field. Today its an empire on decline. So if we can face its pressure at its peak glory than today 3 regional powers can definitely do a thing or two independently in the face of an empire on decline.

I also wrote few below pointers that America would never have approved but these countries did anyways:

Saudi Arabia:
- Saudi relations with Russia
- Saudi OPEC+ oil cuts with Russia
- Rapprochement with Iran
- Refusal on Israel Normalization
- Deepening ties with China
Turkey
- Military ops against Kurds
- Buying S400
- Building independent defense industry, ending US hegemony and also competing with it in defense market at some levels.
Pakistan:
- Nuclear weapon program. Developing 100s of nuclear warheads despite US sanctions in the past during development.
- Israel's non-recognition and its condemnation at every intl stage.
- Supporting its own groups when US forces were in Afghanistan
- All weather alliance with China (United States Biggest rival). Building various defense and strategic projects with China.

So, it makes zero sense that these countries needed america's permission to form a trilateral defense pact. Infact US would be unhappy. Its another dent to its falling hegemony.

However, you are right when you say "targeted at Israel". Its not targeted at any specific country. Iran, India, Taliban, Houhtis, Israel, Kurds, Greece. Its not against any specific country or entity. Its a defense pact, not an aggressor coalition to wage a war. Its purpose as of now is more at deterrent level.

This is what happens when Middle East countries don’t police Iran themselves. Time to do something doesn’t look like they are going to be able to continue to allow Iran and proxies to act against them while trying to let others do the fighting for them .

Something like this has always always been on the card's , from decades,

Lol.....silly geese, how come this has happened so swiftly? You think Arabs decided overnight to reverse their ottoman angst

A subtle sketch of an architecture has always been in place, never did turkey or Pak loosen their bonds, Saudi Pakistan the same.

Each nation has it's context to work with the west, was it written in stone to be perpetual?

As China is becoming a giant in all the important places these countries have options and leverage, their own growing capability, the moment is being seized, just because it makes sense, because it's always hovered around 60 -80% possibility.
