Makkah Joint Defense Agreement: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, news & updates

Brilliant post except the political point scoring. I dislike current regime but I totally appreciate this step. For long I desired this kind of NATO style defense PACT. Finally its arrived in whoever's tenure or whoever happens to be General does not matter. Petty politics should not play role in such events. Also avoid "roting in jail" and like statements. Injustice with anyone should never be encouraged even if you don't like such person. A fact of matter is he has enormous following and voter base in Pakistan. All of us should not follow politics like a religion.
I am not jumping with joy over this PACT, i am skeptical... but its definitely a good decision in a right direction, if we get something out of it, Sooo Bismillah and if we don't what we lose? Turks help Pakistan with limited stuff they did during May 2025 conflict, KSA literally saved Pakistan's economy from crashing, as recent as this year when they put huge amount of money into Pakistan, after paying UAE debts. People are only mad that this agreement is not with "Right" Muslims, and not signed by the "Right" leader (in Pakistan).

With such a strategic insight you should be commandant staff college dhok khootian

Dude, trust me, look at their emojis and posts. Not a single positive thing about Pakistan and liking each others negative posts. Obvious to anyone it is a concerted attempt by Indian trolls on here

The best thing to happen in the last few decades. This is the only way Muslims can free themselves from external influence and pressure. With this they won’t be dependent on USA or China.
Turkey has tech, Saudi has money, and Pakistan has experience and limited tech. Working together these countries can create NATO level indigenous defence industries in their countries. Developing defence industry also leads to many other industries being developed and matured. This way Muslim countries won’t have to rely on USA or China for big ticket defence products.

If India attacks Pakistan, I can see Turkey helping.....but what is Saudi going to do apart from belly dance and condemn? Or perhaps roll over the loan facility another year. Saudis can't fight for sh1t, so it's a bad deal for Pakistan unless we start getting Billions in defence investment and heavily discounted oil.
Maybe use ISIS against India, or the Saudi funded lashkars.

Sometimes I wonder why hawk eyes of mods get shrouded when it comes to such posters!

Credit to the mods, they know and will tolerate till a line is crossed, same thing happened with that "French" guy @BonPlan Eventually he gave enough rope to hang himself, it just gets frustrating when a good thread turns to shit as they talk about "But BLA" "But Pak economy" "But India may be upset"

Usual f**king playbook mate

The Mecca joint defense agreement is for stability in West Asia

Interesting video from Praveen - he seems to suggest that Iran knew of this agreement and it was something that Iran has discussed with Russia, China and Pakistan also.

( You can turn on auto-english audio translation btw if Hindi is difficult to follow ).

As I said in my last post, no real indication of what this deal entails.

How does this help solve Pakistans problems exactly? Will Saudi or Turkish forces start deploying in Afghanistan for us and along the LoC? Can we afford to pay their wages?

What about our own military? Do they expect us to transfer our more elite units to Saudi Arabia? Ok sure but then what exactly are they supposed to do when drones and missiles come flying in. We barely have enough AD for Pakistan at the moment.

Or do they want us sending scores of infantry grunts to die for them in Yemen. What's going to be the game here?
This deal is mainly about Saudi Arabia purchasing protection - whether as boots on the ground from Pakistan or defense equipment and technology from Turkiye , and is fully blessed by the US. Pakistan had already signed the bilateral pact, and the Failed Marshal and Showbaaz went there just for effect. To be fair, I think the aim is deterrence against Iran or its allies attacking Saudi, because none of the three countries actually want to get involved in an armed conflict. Pakistan really had no choice in the matter because the Saudis have us by the financial balls.

Israel is a convenient bogeyman because a military alliance explicitly targetted at Iran would be deeply unpopular with the public. Netanyahu's stupidity and hubris has made it easy to sell the anti-Zionist narrative, but his days are numbered and I see a strong possibility of a renewed push for the Abraham Accords once the new Israeli government takes office.

As for India and Greece, I don't think it affects either substantively, though both may use the narrative to justify diplomatic moves they would have made regardless.

Nonsense. Netanyahu multiple times said he wants to carry out the Libya-model for Iran, which means total destruction of a state (its institutions and infrastructure, causing civil war).

The small GCC countries are Israel and US puppies (Bahrain, Emirates, Kuwait). These are not real states, but oil fields, military bases etc ruled by some US-British appointed puppet like the one from Jordan.

Jordan is not a state either, it's a US-British buffer zone to prevent missiles and armies entering Israel.
Your fascist mentality says it all. You need to learn respecting sovereignty of other states. I find this mentality quite common in IRGC lickers. These goons are a cause of shame for humanity.

There is no doubt that Israel is an enemy of Islam and Muslims (both Sunnis and Shias). On the other hand, since 1979, Iran has proved itself as a stunch enemy of Sunni Muslims. IRGC terrorists have killed hugely more Muslims than what Zionist war criminals could ever do. What Iranian terrorists did in Syria is utterly shameful to say the least.

IRGC and Zionists are apparently the enemies of each other but they together are the biggest enemies of Islam and Muslims. They follow similar policies that mutually support both of them.

As far the change in Iran, the best change would be dismantling of terrorist organization called IRGC and empowering the elected government in Iran.

The IRGC are the terrorists who feel no shame in joining hands with the worst and most vicious enemies of Allah Almighty and His Messenger Muhammed PBUH, i.e. Hindu idol worshipper, in killing the followers of the Prophet PBUH. Common Muslims should not have any illusions regarding these evil IRGC goons.

the agreement is signed

3 islamic Superpower powers are now fully equipped and ready to defend each other and will lead the islamic army under the cover of nukes

but meanwhile not a single peep from them about getting water and food into Gaza

this whole thing is a farce
This is a very unintelligent post from u. Signing an agreement is the very first step. It's the real world...where things take time to achieve especially if they are massive in scale(such as this)...
...no one rubbed a magic lamp ...made a wish and it came true right away.

The agreement would require all 3(if they want to take it seriously) to align their militaries together(like NATO does). This means training together more frequently, standardizing equipment and increasing interoperability, more frequent military exercises together, supporting each other's defense industries(like for example KSA opting to buy Turkish drones over Chinese ones), etc. IF the 3 nations act on this agreement diligently starting today...it would bear fruit at least a decade from now if not more.

Everything boils down to their favorite 'Khan' not making these deals. I have seen similar pattern in the Iran war thread where the Pahlavists despise everything done by the current Iranian govt.
It is impossible for such brains to admit that they bet on the wrong horse!

The defensive bloc us NOT targeting ANYONE. It is as the name suggest, PURELY defensive. It's to stop aggressors and potential aggressors from targeting Pakistan, Turkiye and Saudi Arabia. Perhaps Pakistan, Turkiye and Saudi Arabia are the targets of some evil regime which is why this pact was formed.
Let me be brutally honest. Does Pakistan and Turkey really need anyone else to come to their rescue? I dont think so! Can't say the same for Saudi though.

Please defeat BLA, TTP, TTA and all other foreign supported terrorists in Pakistan first and then you are welcome to go on new adventures in Iran or Yemen or wherever you see $$$.
Our security forces are trying and many facing martyrdom on daily basis against those khawarij.

Will Saudi Arabia modify it's domestic and foreign policies after this defense agreement ? Saudi Wahhabi regime is persecuting Shias in their own country and targeting the Shias overseas through proxies including in Pakistan. Are they going to accept plurality among Muslims rather than impose Wahhabi doctrine ? Pakistan and Turkey has large Shia minorities and share border with Iran.
I doubt it. The jist of this pact is Saudi unhappiness and apprehension over America's strategic defeat in Iran and purchasing additional protectors against Iran. It is a doubling down of the Saudi posture, not reforms.
