this is a result of the decades of having the same thug/mafia/families in charge of the CORRUPTION at every level of governance.
We can thank the GHQ for helping their mafia thug rishtaydars.
Anyone who dissent either disappears or is facing police/agency brutal violence for questioning the state.
People had expected the ghq/army to clean up the shit starting with musharraf era, never happened. Even Khan could not do it. Everyone is just corrupt to the core. If the most powerful are not willing to change, then desperation will hit hard and everyone will just want to flee

Why can one expect Pakistanis with guns to help clean up other Pakistanis?
Im sorry, but very bluntly - GHQ or otherwise have not descended from heavens.
They are part of a system which by design has shown resilience to whatever meagre effort the soil that supplies this system has been able to generate.
Therefore the SOIL IS FAILED AND INCAPABLE OF CHANGING THE SYSTEM - It is only capable of breaking systems and chaos - not actually sustaining intelligent change.
So, the ONLY Option of changing the system is to use it and consistently plant seeds for change.
These seeds for change ALSO come from the same soil - therefore the best approach is to convince the good of the soil that has guns to slowly change their own production line for the survival of the soil itself.
So far, all efforts have only led to short term knee jerk approaches to change or worse - actually trying to replace a rotten system with another rotten system that serves those who claim to bring change.
When Pakistani Gen Z(both rightly but also as apathy) offer explanations that they wont replicate BD Gen Z revolt because they fear the vigo(as if BD youth did not face similar threats) then it is clear the issue isnt so much disgust with GHQ or the system but that everyone is convinced nothing will work.
So if everyone is convinced nothing will work other than random rants against GHQ or focused ethnic revolts then someone needs to either outside of the box or we can continue the slogging and AI generated blogs/videos or random claims(not pointing at you to be clear but the overall trend).
Look, the elites - political, military, business and bureaucracy are way way way more united than ANY of the common man is - divide and conquer works for them as they shake their hands and go high in parties in DHA and Dubai. To assume that somehow the common Captain, Major or Commodore is immune to their plays is also folly.
So perhaps look beyond saviors - look at intelligent change - the strongest institution has to be used

Yes.
Even those guarding the western border take their share (some L petrol or smuggled goods) and thus reinforce/protect the corruption of the top tiers by giving their lives.
Any organic change (preferably local, as you say) coupled with an external factor. A change of heart on its own is impossible.
