Rageh Omar, from your second piece, is actually one of the better, more literate, and more objective journalists to have worked at BOTH BBC and AJ. He is now on a different channel completely.

See what he himself said when talking to John Pilger in The War You Don't See, regarding editorial oversight during the 2nd Iraq War.

Again, certain very specific individuals are trustworthy, precisely because they push back vehemently against the bias I have spoken of, even when it costs them their jobs!

Most of the BBC and AJ journos will behave like shills, happily taking the steak and red wine option and acquiescing to hindutva and zio pay masters.

EDIT: I don't know how Pakistani youtube works, but every time I open a AJ report on UK youtube, I am reminded that "AJ IS FUNDED BY THE QATARI GOVERNMENT". Yet you squat on this thread constantly lecturing everyone that AJ is an honest broker.

None of this is actually that complicated.

You simply see what you wish to see.

This is how they regulate their media here.

But they want a freehand in Pakistan to push their narratives to encourage civil unrest?

They have provided multiple youtubers with safe havens who spend everyday trying to create domestic terrorists.

Pakistan needs to throw out BBC, AJ and anyone else who doesn't respect their boundaries, bring back the fugitives and cancel passports of any dual nationals that are crossing red lines.

Put your foot down, enough is enough.

You realize the coercive control they have and how the utilize that control

But we have a jahil populated that like to chimp out and we as a state are expected to bend to this chaos to keep us weak

We can no longer do this and we need to become a centralized strong state so we can take.on this world

yes dirty Kashmiris... like the dirty Bengali babus of the 1970s... ?
No Kashmiris. These are a few rotten eggs in Azad Kashmir.
  • These dirty terrorists of JAAC never fight in support of the brave sons of the soil fighting in Indian occupied J&K against the occupying Indian terrorists.
  • Rather these Doval's dogs tried to deprive the people of Azad Kashmir of their democratic right of voting.
  • These beghairat traitors also tried to deprive the people of Indian occupied J&K of their right of representation in the state assembly of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the only representative body of all people of the state. Timely voices from Indian occupied J&K opposed and exposed these beghairat traitors.
It's very encouraging that the true sons of the soil have rejected these terrorists of JAAC. The elections have isolated and exposed these terrorist traitors. I see a painful future for these greedy Doval's dogs who sold their mother-land for Modi's dollars.

Now you keep barking like a rebid Doval's dog. No one in Azad Kashmir cares about traitors.

AJK police claim JAAC 'abducted' 8 highway police personnel on election duty

News Desk
August 13, 2026

Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) police said on Thursday that eight highway police personnel on election duty had been “abducted” by the proscribed Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC).

Addressing a televised press conference, police spokesperson Khawar Ali Shaukat alleged that the JAAC attacked security forces deputed on election duty in the region.

“Eight highway police officials on election duty were abducted,” he said as state media shared a collage of the officials’ pictures.

“The personnel are in the custody of JAAC and have been subjected to brutal abuse,” he said. He said that the “miscreants also threatened the families of the personnel that they would be martyred if their demands were not met”.

He said that recent events showed that the JAAC was not a peaceful group, but a violent one intent on challenging the state’s writ and weakening institutions.

“I want to make it clear that the state was not and is not weak. The state has always shown restraint,” he said, adding that violent acts for the sake of rights were not above the law.

He said that the people of the region, by participating in polls in the region, had made it clear that they had nothing to do with the proscribed group. He appealed to the public to disassociate themselves from the JAAC and to not get involved in acts where the state’s writ was challenged.
