This is merely propaganda to convince the US to return to war. Iran possesses no Aladdin's lamp it can rub and magically regenerate destroyed infrastructure.

I believe there is some truth to the Israeli leaks. Iran has prepared for this conflict for 40 years and likely would have spare planetary mixers in storage and masked sites for solid fuel. It also was tipped off about a pending war in June 2025 when it fought an 12 day war with Israel and likely spent the next 9 months procuring whatever it could anticipating another round.

In fact, Marco Rubio admitted to as much as saying they couldn’t let Iran get to the point that it could make hundreds of missiles a month while they could only produce tens of interceptors.

We saw when IDF raided a secret Syrian missile base during the war a couple years ago that Iran had managed to build a modest mixer underground in a mountain site to produce short range BMs. So it’s clear from that example, that Iran can make missile underground. The question is at what rate.

But the real breakthru might be that Iran has rotated to “gel fuel” rather than solid fuel. There was articles in the past talking about this breakthru fuel which could mix benefits of solid fuel with the practicality of liquid fuel.

If I am correct then the main problem for Iran would be carbon fiber production capabilities and if any of that has been moved underground. If not, then Iran would have to use steel casing for engines which makes them heavier and reduces range for distant targets like Israel, but for short range targets like the Persian gulf this isn’t a problem.

We shall see. I don’t think the issue right now is missiles, but willpower. For Iran, it seems more content on waiting for oil to eventually bite rather than be in a skirmish.

Large scale bombings of Iran stopped in April, so it’s now been about 5 months that Iran has had to rebuild and recover and bring in materials from Russia and China via plane, railroad, and Caspian Sea.

You can’t give every soldier and officer a security escort team or tell them to stay in hiding.

Given his senior rank, experience, and the situation Iran is currently facing, a Major should at the very least exercise high situational awareness and keep a low profile. Vehicle should be armoured and bullet proof if travelling is necessary. Excuses like this is not a substitute for incompetency.

Iran is just going to let Bessent do full on economic warfare and crush the currency to get people rioting in the streets after gasoline shortages happen?

Once again Iranian leadership is weakening itself by avoiding war and facing the problem head on.

Only a matter of time till the West engineers more protests in the country and the ‘Rally around the flag’ effect wears off as people get tired of the blockade and being treated like Gaza.

Iran should be very careful and take lessons learned from Gaza and Lebanon and Syria, the local population will only rally around the flag for a brief amount of time. But economic stress will make people agitated.

Iran should have never traded kinetic warfare for a non-kinetic economic siege. This is the Maximum Pressure of 2016-2025 all over again, except this time Iran cannot even use its ports or do maritime trade.
