Historically and religiously, Army has always played its role in politics for 100s of years. Not sure which Riyasat e Medina Imrano was talking about which excludes one of the most important element of governance.

Hundreds of years ago it was ok to have slaves too.

Every system has its own rules. This is not the Ottoman or Mughal empire and Asim Munir is not Salahuddin. He's a bald old dude. You cannot justify Pak Army's deshatgardi by invoking historical empires. The age of the Warrior King is long gone.

It does not work when you have a complex and modern technological nation state of millions of people.

Army does not play role in politics in modern day Commonwealth Republics. Any role Pak army is currently playing in Pakistani politics is a total violation of it's oath and job description.

The guns, resources and manpower afforded to them by the state is abused and redirected for things like real estate, services and industry. They're a bloody business conglomerate. A state within a state.

Basically they are the Mafia. Riyasat e Badmaashi.

He's languishing in jail for his mistake isn't he? Been over a 1000 days now they don't even let him meet his lawyers and they've got ridiculous cases on him like he stole a watch or used public funds to build Bani Gala road.

Why? Because you can maybe vote out the criminal in the suit and bring another one in, provided the election system at least works. This gives incentive to the crook to actually work for the vote and do SOMETHING. There are loads of mediocre countries out there doing better than us with just as many crooks in govt but at the very least the populace has a proverbial whip to use on them. We got none of that. When our faujis sell their souls to the devil for that little extra plot and maybe sending their sons abroad, we all get shafted.

With Khaki rule (let's ignore they're not supposed to be doing it in the first place) it's backed by the G3 and unmarked Vigos. You can talk against Imran on this forum and in public all day kuch nahi hoga but say too much about them and they'll come for your whole family if they feel like it. Like the Mafia.

When they make a mistake there's 0 accountability and if it's really bad they can offload the blame onto their fall guy, which was supposed to be Imran but he was a bad goy so they got a better goyim in Shahbaz, and you can see that already in past couple days the honeymoon between Munir and PMLN was going shaky.

Point is, if you want to wait for a flawless human being to come along and only then will you say let's go for civilian rule then we will have military shadow rule forever. Qayamat tak we will be in the bracket of Egypt and Myanmar.

At the same time, if Imran is silly for all his mistakes in his 3 years as PM then what can we saw about this army that got Pakistan split in half, got us embroiled in a 'War on Terror'.

The only deal offered to him is to get the fk out of Pakistan or keep the mouth shut and stay in benigala. Awam has really high expectations from him which he can not deliver so its in his best interest to stay in jail.

Every nation has different circumstances and situation in order for western democracy to work. China, and Russia will fail and disintegrate if true democratic system is implemented. Heck, even Imrandos favorite country Iran (even though none of them would ever want to move their) will also disintegrate under democratic system.
Democracy in Pakistan even without Army intervention is like putting lipstick on a pig. For example, Imran Khan became popular by using religion churan. You give hopes and dreams to Muslims yet you cant even possibly fulfill that promise. The most ethical thing Imran Khan and his party can do is announce that democracy/ secularism is the best revenge where Islam has no role.

Let me remind you.... on this very soil.... not too long ago...... lived an empire..... for 1000 years...... where military ruled.... by the sword..... its rulers were also combatants.... democracy is not even 100 years old.

And again, Army did not get east Pakistan split in half... equal blame goes on the planners of this nation.... they were not flawless. Its like building your house with your bedroom kitchen bathroom living room spread throughout your neighborhood.

I seriously hope Imran Khan and PTI is as enthusiastic as you are when it comes to opposing Islamic rule. Not that I am pro Islamic rule which I know is not possible but I am basically using Imran Khan Riyasat e Medina churan to defeat your argument.
Pleaseeeeee tell average PTI voter that Riyasat e Medina aint happening under PTI rule. Because more then half of PTI supporters are under the impression that evil amrika told Pak Fauj to arrest Imran Khan because he was going to make Pakistan true Islamic country 😂

Asim Munir has more commonality with Salauhdin then Imrand Khand. His highness FM Munir is quran e Hafiz Imran is not. Salauhdin used his diplomacy skills to unite Muslim nations under one casue. We know Asim Munir is doing the same and so far is doing great. Being bold is not a bad thing btw. If Asim Munir was alive during Salauhdin era he would promote him to highest ranking general. If Imran Khan was alive during Salauhdin's era he would have made him sit on a donkey upside-down and kicked send him off to crusaders.

I agree, but for Pakistan's situation.... true democratic system will never work. Otherwise you will have hypocrites like Imran Khan who will give Riyasat e Medina churan in speeches to get votes based on fake promises.

If Islamic system under military rule can work for over 1000 years, im sure it can also work today.

You should learn about Riyasat e Medina where Military not only controlled politics but also property businesses.

Read the history don t defend Ayub Khan the mother of evil. He been known corrupt to the core before partition. Read the history books. He is killer of Quaid and Fatima Jinnah, Liaquat Ali Khan....General literally fvcked Pakistan right and left.
