From what I read, the leaker is likely an Indian. They say they had thousands of workers in india doing some quality testing etc and one of them is now leaking it.
I already paid for my ultimate edition like everyone else and I am not really fazed with these leeks but its driving rockstar and 2k crazy.

They can digitally insert it in their digital cavities then. I've stopped paying for games that cost 50 euros, let alone 80. And we're talking about the standard version, not even a Collector's Edition with physical gifts and the game in DVD format.

If I'm going to own a digital copy only,it shouldn't exist 20-30 euros.

Yeah there are a few ways to look into it. I agree I paid aud 160 for the ultimate edition and didnt think about it but my financial situation is not the same as everyone else's in the world.

However games have stayed around the same price for generations while games have become a lot more costly to make at the same time also. The games I played in the 90s with 4 hrs of real content and cost me $90 aud and now its still much the same price but u get much more content.

I know a lot of gamers are not in the demographic class of doing well for themselves (not saying you) with the image of an overweight neckbeard bloke yelling at the screen and barely making it by. Therefore they are very against increase in game prices.

Rockstar makes letter of sorrow:

Dear all,

We know that many of you have been waiting to hear from us regarding the events of the past week. It would be an understatement to say that having videos of Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay leak in this way has been heartbreaking for our team, and this is obviously not how we intended for you to see the game after all this time. We are very sorry that everything has taken as long as it has - from getting the game finished (nearly there!) to sharing more details and official gameplay, and providing the community with everything you want to know.

We are very excited for everyone to see the extended look tomorrow. It has taken longer than we wanted to get it ready, but as with everything we do, we know we need to exceed your expectations, and we are determined to deliver at the level you expect and deserve. While it is unfortunate that the intended game experience may now be impacted by some spoilers, we hope that everyone will wait a bit longer to experience the game for themselves on November 19.

We want to thank everyone in the community who has reached out with messages of support this past week - your words have meant more to this team than you can imagine. Ultimately, we are making this game for you, and without you, we would not have the privilege of making games.

We look forward to sharing more with you soon.

Sincerely,
Rockstar Games

China made its own "GTA6" but instead of spending billions it only cost them $100million. Its free to play and coming out 2 months after GTA6. If i have time I will give it a go and see what its like.

So thats basically a permission to play , after paying 80 Dollars.
You don't own the game.
I rather play with myself than doing this .

I am waiting for a price drop on 007 First Light. New hit games cost $70 and that's just too much for me.

Was some Indian outsource tech bro the confirmed culprit? There has been plenty of speculation.
