I think it would give all nuclear license to start using at least tactical nukes

I don't think that would happen. Only Russia and the US can challenge each other and they have decades of history dealing with each other peacefully.

So, here's a recap of the situation so far:

1. The US effectively destroyed Iran's nuclear enrichment and shut it down in June 2025.
2. The US imposed a naval blockade on Iran indefinitely and Iran can do nothing about it.
3. Iran is not going to get a penny from the traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.
4. Iran has lost over $400 billion in infrastructural damage and over a trillion dollar over its nuclear program.
5. Iran has lost over 10K civilians and soldiers in 52 days of war, over 600 residential buildings and most of its command chain.
6. Iran is at the mercy of the US and Israel and they can attack Iran again any time they feel like it and mow the lawn with minimal consequences.
7. There will be no sanctions relief in any shape or form. No money will be released from Iran's frozen funds.

And some people here think Iran has won this war.

An intense blitz with what ? Do you never read any of the articles that I painstakingly find and post ? 15 bases are damaged beyond repair and offensive/defensive missile inventory is at a minimum. The kinetic phase is done.

PGcc airfields are still operational and aircraft are returning to regional bases in large numbers, we will see the numbers increase in the coming weeks and these diplomatic staff will again be evacuated before the next attack.

Unless he believes he can win it in one go he’s not going to try most likely but who knows but average American left or right don’t like wars that have no meaning(sept 11 gave meaning for Afghanistan didn’t work so well with Iraq republicans got butchered for that one)
