Bangladesh Keen To Join Saudi-Pak-Turkey Defence Alliance, Says PM's Top Aide

What does defence mean?
You're applying simplistic literal understanding of a word and answering it based on your limited interpretation.
Don't you think something is lacking?

Defence is merely a word in a dictionary, when applied to a treaty, how it is used and interpreted very much matters, it is not a matter of simplicity.
got it now thanks

Don't make it more complicated than it is not... defence pact is defence pact whatever way you cut it... don't lay too much emphasis on ifs and buts and nuances .

Thanks for your ans makes sense .Can you care to explain is there any way to provide them logistic support and military gears or drines.would it be done by third party ?
Bangladesh is unlikely to fight against any country for now but if there is a war with India for example. Pakistan doesn't need to provide logistical support to Bangladesh. If India attacks Dhaka, Pakistan responds by attacking Gujarat, Delhi or Rajasthan (although they will likely attack Punjab).

If Turkey fights Israel, Bangladesh will not be able to provide any military support to Turkey but they might be able to engage Israel's ally (India), in case India wants to help Israel.... or they will be available for diplomatic support. All depends on the opponent.

According to DU IR Prof Shahaduzzaman (who was an advisor to President Zia-ur Rahman), the Misak-i Mekka is a GOD-gifted opportunity for BD's security and sovereignty.....

No bhai jaan, it's not about complications, it's about understanding the issues for what they're worth.
Otherwise whats the point?
What is the point of a discussion, if not to understand something.

When you try to turn an issue into it's bare bone essentials, it feeds lies, falsehoods and misunderstandings because so much is missing in the lack of understanding the complexities.

Understanding an issue, any issue isn't difficult and we shouldn't pretend that it is.

It was more then hint, they actively operated in a way that encouraged russia to transgress against Turkiye.

However as Muslims will we behave as slimy as Christians?

Wow, no slim please, leave that for the Ghostbusters.

The size of the alliance is also important in the sense that it will not allow any nation to be isolated internationally should a war take place.

You see if Isreal were to start a war against Turkiye tomorrow, they would move to isolate Turkiye internationally using the influence and power of the USA. This isolation will come in the form of economic and political sanctions, embargoes. These sanctions/ embargoes are what is really holding Iran down. If the USA were not able to apply them to Iran, their situation against Isreal would be very different.

But if the defence alliance were large enough, it would be hard for the USA to target one nation without risking losing the entire bloc. A risk that would be simply too large for the USA to take.

Last time Donald Trump was in Office he bragged about crashing the Turkish Lira causing hyperinflation so can expect that as one of the things in their playbook again

There is racial and ideological differences between Pakistanis and BD. These can only be termed as visceral. There's no Pakistani out here who has genuine sympathy for BD or her people.

So, are you telling me all my Pak bros hate my gut even though we shared food from same plate? 😕

I don't agree with this guys claim and not all Pakistanis think like that. I have met Bengali people that cried in front of me when they were narrating the incidents they saw with their eyes. I do sympathize with the people that had to go through that. However, the current generation of BD should not hold any grudge against Pakistanis and i feel the tide is slowly turning, we are brothers, period!

Ever seen a watering hole? Every available specie drinks from it.

As soon as your types get exchanged in numbers by the Awami types in UK, US, Canada and Australia, we will witness the true state of affairs.

Mind you, Pakistanis have gone through 50 years of propaganda one way or the other which plagues their guilty conscience and so did BDs in the last 50 years.

Both countries are diving factors for each other in their respective countries. Just get a better deal you like with India and spare everyone this chitter chatter.
