Bangladesh Keen To Join Saudi-Pak-Turkey Defence Alliance, Says PM's Top Aide

Good post... atleast sane mind spoke..... this mecca pact is going to die as per tensions with Iran and America eases up,,.. it has no strategy, no clear thinking , objectives nothing.... mostly it's a desperate attempt by Saudis especially and this actually started after Isreal's attack on Qatar....

The outrage coming out of New Delhi and Tel Aviv isn't sound logic. It’s pure panic over losing the ability to divide, dominate and dictate. For years, the playbook relied on keeping regional powers fragmented and vulnerable. Now that these sovereign nations are pooling their defence capabilities and building on existing foundations like the Saudi and Pakistani military cooperation, the critics are calling a basic act of self preservation a suicide mission.

Framing a collective defence agreement as a catastrophe simply reveals sour grapes of external actors who realize their monopoly on power in the region has begun to decay.

You were a pen stroke away from signing the Abraham Accords. Proof that man plans, but Allah is the ultimate planner.

It is a binding agreement if India decides to attack Pakistan again then KSA, Turkey and Pakistan are going to jointly attack India and cut off your oil and gas routes.

Indias internal thinking

Can the pact rise above this projection?

At a minimum, the Mecca pact members will aid each other to the best of their ability. As we speak, Türkiye, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are already shoring up each other's capabilities. Expect extensive integration and R&D across both defensive and offensive capabilities. This pact paves the way for unprecedented cooperation. That in itself is a deterrent against hostile actors.

The Mecca pact serves primarily as a deterrent, just like NATO.

Pretty sure he is Dalit

Anyways the tantrum and frothing at the mouth by India shows the level of copium they are in at the moment.

The GCC led by Saudi doesn't even need to lift a finger to hurt India, Just return 10million unemployed indians back into India to create chaos and big burden and cut off oil supply to India.

If Saudi Led GCC and Turkey actually lifted a finger, India would be done for.

This is why they are collapsing internally

Saudi already supports Pakistan

Turkey supported Pakistan enough to make them boycott the country for

But the 2 existing and known strands coming together is improbable.....

They could do as they already do and that's the pact in action, so how does it fail lol

Exactly they are also salty that no one comes to help them in anyway last year during sindoor. India doesn't have any real friends while Pakistan can always rely on Mecca pact and China.

The question has been raised about whether aid will actually come to member countries of the Mecca pact in the event of a serious, actual attack, and there are doubts about whether aid will come.
My opinion on this matter is that we need precisely this doubt. The attacker shouldn't be certain. For example, let's say a country wants to attack Pakistan or Türkiye. Thanks to this agreement, they will think twice, wondering what will happen. If they come to help, the situation will drag on for a long time, and their reputation will be damaged.

Wars are no longer fought for territory, but for economic interests and domestic politics. America got involved with Iran because of Israel, couldn't defeat them, couldn't force them to surrender, lost reputation, and suffered huge economic losses. In fact, they should have given up and fled, they regretted it, but the Zionist lobby and domestic politics are forcing them to pretend to continue.
Anyway, let's not digress; even two speeches of support at the moment of the attack would be a great morale boost. In addition, providing financial and ammunition aid wouldn't significantly impact the war, but it would be a huge morale boost. Otherwise, how could a devastated Ukraine have endured for four years?

India’s strategic anxiety is completely justified. The era of Riyadh playing a neutral referee between New Delhi and Islamabad has officially ended with the signing of the Mecca pact. While Ankara and Riyadh gain massive industrial and strategic leverage, Pakistan emerges as the pact's primary beneficiary. India is desperately hoping the Mecca pact falls flat.

Pakistan’s fragile economy has long handicapped its military capabilities. Time will tell if this pact changes the equation. At least, the prospects look good.

I think china is primarily reliable and turkey is pretty much equal to it

Saudi can readjust modestly and it all adds up to a net loss to India

In fact, it pushes India closer to Israel if India has reduced goodwill in the Arab world, and Israel won't mind
