Will or not, Iran has been so heavily degraded, they can only fire <10 ballistic missiles per day with limited attacks on commercial shipping. Oil flow through the southern route continues to rise.

Midterm impacts are overstated IMO. Repubs were losing a chamber regardless of the war. Trumps not running for reelection, he can carry this out until the end of his term if he wants.

A country of 31 provinces. That is a lot of territory with a considerable amount being mountainous. Hunting Scud launchers in the western Iraqi desert was hard enough.
