The F-35 is what gave the French a taste of their own medicine in its ability to continuously "gulp down" electronic emissions with no legal contracts covering it. And since in exercises anything you transmit is observable and therefore enforceable, while anything you absorb is unverifiable.

The Americans(and other NATO allies) were annoyed when Rafale's would do this in exercises and basically be "over-cautious" participants when in reality they were doing everything they could to capture whatever emissions(even those in training modes) from other participants. It was unmatched until the Lightening.

But that is like a Dyson vacuum - versus the black hole that is the F-35 which is like a flying Sigint station wherever and however it flies and transmits it across the fleet and system.

No worries.
We'll bait these black S holes with emissions arising from 2-3 days old chole kulcha. Once they 'gulp down' these, its game over.

Last F-35 in India was grounded for weeks to clear it's innards.

Going from air control to denial is probably the best option for India right now
When it comes to PAF and Chinese fifth and sixth gen manned and unmanned platforms threat , you can see them talking about S-400, kurdashn or surdashan, anti stealth radar, AWEC on X and youtube, according to their theory, stealth is no longer vital and they can go around the physics.

Rafale is no longer the pride of India and Su-30mki is no longer the raptor of the east.

Moreover, the amount of money MBDA asked for an upgraded meteor (which then they could sell to all other partners for "free") was balked at - they have a plan to put a AESA seeker on an Astra derivative but to actually test and field it in any useful numbers is years - if not a decade away.

So they are being smart about the focus and basically building in depth GBAD to be able to just fire 5 missiles at every potential target to ensure kills.
The IAF will be left to launching standoff weapons with SAMs acting as the "Anti air" role.

All the plan for an upgraded Meteor seem to have been canceled. France plan is COMET missile, and UK one is FASE. Some say COMET and FASE are the same. The emphasis of these 2 (or one) missiles is not more range over Meteor, but more speed.
France and UK are the sole in EU to have the knowledge to developp an AESA missile seeker.

Yes, and that is the fundamental weakness here, if air defence is "outsourced" to SAMs that leaves troops vulnerable. Pakistan will not have to worry about it's armoured formations being attacked from the air (drones will always be a problem granted)
