It can be true from our perspective. From their lens, it is not surrender until some external/unknown factor can pivot in their favour. It is, as you know, an infinite (state) vs finite game. Nobody (state or BLA) will run out of resources, especially after our policies such as open hostility with AFG (weapons) and political* turmoil (BLA recruitment). One has to get tired of it so the other can claim victory.
*Everything is political, which is nothing but catering to public/civilian voices according to a framework (e.g., constitution).

That is both hopeful and worrying. I hope there is a strict drone policy. If BLA/TTP get hold of a good drone supply chain, especially in the urban centre, it will be a bloodbath. Better to resolve this while we have the edge.
Just letting you know that this year we are going to pay 1800 billion Rs to IPPs (~45 billion $) despite load shedding, including capacity payments. If the establishment was not relying on this crooked cabal, we would have money for our soldiers.

Nobody is happy in their job. Even doctors aren't happy with their long duty hours and are ready to leave for a better opportunity. Yet they don't leave, and a huge queue of young Drs can happily fill any vacant seat in case.
A good metric will be a detailed survey if soldiers are happy or not, or whether they want Balochistan deployment without affecting their career. You know the answer.

Sure, man. If 700k were corrupt, then Pak is not that resourceful to feed everyone desire. All my family members who served in the Army (retired earlier and settled abroad) or in laws serving right now are average, not even reaching the middle class. Those who are on foreign assignment, and some who reached a star, still have one house.

Nobody elects NS/Zardari or welcomes martial laws bcz they claim to be corrupt. They agree with them on false promises and the hopes they give. Please stop blaming the victims (the public).
Therefore, those who gain power by creating a façade or using institutional discipline are to blame.

First, you don't ask "professional" troops if they are "happy" during a COIN campaign. Of course they are not happy and there is a lot of stress, but they also realize it is their obligation to the state to do the needful. My father, like many others, fought for Pakistan in 3 wars, served time as a PoW and many other hardships. Nobody asked them before sending them to wherever they needed to go including para-jumping inside a thoroughly hostile India. Countless others have done even more. None of it was for a plot of land or some amazing plush retirement. The country called and calls now to tackle the threat of terrorism, for professionals, that means a job has to be done despite the hardships and sacrifices and they are going about it. One would be abnormal to show 'glee' for such duties, but they are going about it.

Also, I am not blaming the public. Army, military are from the very same public that produces all of us - including you, me, Zardari, IK, Munir etc etc. So calling someone kanjar, who happens to a product of the very same culture, system, baradri, ethnicity etc. that we all belong to is self-flagellation. Interestingly, the other camp uses similar insults for Imran Khan and his lot.

As I asked earlier, has this officer publicly said that he was behind OBL's identification and spied for the US? Nobody knows this yet constantly forwarding videos about the hapless chap.

Unfortunately, Moeed Pirzada and others like him have no credibility any longer. They are simply mouthpieces of yet another political party and now their halway-mandhay are made bashing the army sitting in the West. Plenty overseas fund them so it's a good life bashing everything about Pakistan while sitting overseas.
