With the desperation of american sailors on those ships and having to port at thailand of all places, its a sorry and sad "break/vacation". I feel sorry for those guys who will soon have to be back onboard the ship again, I have a feeling some may even quit the navy altogether when they get chance.

That's because Chinese carriers have not been proven to be able to handle long distance deployments. So far to the east coast of Philippines is the furthest they have been able to handle. They always stick close to shore and don't venture out into the open ocean with the big waves.

The answer is because Chinese and Russian ships spend most of their lives in the docks while US ships have the capacity to be actually deployed for months on end. This is very difficult for other countries to do.
