CTD Operation on Intelligence Provided by Markor: 5 ISIS-K Terrorists, Including Key Commander, Killed

The CTD conducted a major operation in a compound of the Kabul English Language Center within the jurisdiction of Thana Armar near Shamshato Camp, eliminating 5 terrorists from the banned organization ISIS-Khorasan.

The terrorists were planning major terrorist attacks, including bombings targeting sensitive institutions, Imambargahs, and churches. Among the killed terrorists are the banned organization's key commander Imran alias Abdullah, Bilal, Abu Bakr, while Shahid Ullah son of Miraj resident of Upper Mohmand has also been identified.

During the operation, an SMG, 4 pistols, 2 hand grenades, 5 magazines, one improvised IED, and multiple cartridges were recovered from the terrorists' possession.

Imran alias Abu Bakr was a wanted terrorist in 20 terrorism cases, including bombings in various districts such as Islamabad, and targeted killings of police and political leaders.

He was also wanted in the cases of the martyrdom of Maulana Khanzeb, Senator Hidayat Ullah, and Rehanzeb.

Imran alias Abu Bakr was involved in the suicide attack on an Imambargah in Tarlai, Islamabad, on February 6, 2026. He had arranged for a suicide jacket from Bajaur and transported the suicide bomber from Nowshera to Tarlai, while Shahid Ullah had conducted reconnaissance and identified the target for the attack.

Imran alias Abu Bakr was also wanted in the 2023 suicide attack on the JUI(F) Workers Convention in Bajaur. A reward of 12 million rupees was set for his arrest or information leading to his capture.

The process of identifying the other killed terrorists is ongoing, while search and clearance operations continue in the area.

It's pity that these terrorists are operating in thousands in half of the Pak territory. They all crossed from Afghanistan loaded with NATO leftover guns and bullets and wrecking Havoc on our people. We are sending young soldiers to fight them knowing that they'll also get martyred in the process. Not a single person from Pak side has every shown any courage to cross into Afghanistan. Why not engage them in their own territory where they'll be sitting ducks. Why not attack them in their settled areas. We have become impotent ever since we got these nukes, most of live in lala land thinking now one can conquer us now. Atleast It was good in 80s only we were crossing into Afghanistan, we were engaging them in their own territory.
