Looks like a battle within BNP. Bd nationalist vs Dalals.

TR should align with Jamat and root out all the dalas from his party and administration otherwise he will face the music once more.

I don't think he is in a position to get rid of Indian dalals, he is surrounded by too many of them.

And Jamaat NCP probably wants BNP to fail so that they can get a shot. There is no alignment between the three parties at this time in my opinion.

This presents a perfect opportunity for BAL. Which is why they had the audacity to move in broad daylight in Gulshan of all places.

Instability is the name of the game right now. The Americans do not want instability and will pit each of the parties against each other so sometimes they back the Jamaat, sometimes the BNP and sometimes even speak in favor of the AL ... The Indians are also doing there thing and in parallel with the Americans.

Paid chapris or not - they managed to pull a showdown in the most secured civilian area of the country. Compare this to last year, when they barely managed 10-15 people to come out openly.

This means they no longer have the fear of being associated with an evil entity publicly. In politics people have short memory. If BNP is unable to manage the power situation, you will see larger gathering soon.

They went back to the street, it may be calm and peaceful now but it is one false flag incident away from being completely chaotic. All you need is some BAL thug attacking Jamaat or even over jealous BNP supporter attacking Jamaat to turn this situation completely chaotic.

This kind of stuff is playing right into BAL's comeback plan.

We needed a national unity government of sort. Stability is key. This is why during IG period BAL did not dare stage anything. Jamaat and NCP needs to support BNP.

BNP has not been good in many aspect - agreed. In many cases, they are behaving exactly like BAL, like the arrest of that young man over facebook post. He was charged with terror charges for criticizing government. No different than Hasina.

But we still need to give them time if we don't want instability in the country, which will allow BAL to make a comeback.

Every AL terrorists can be identified with open sourced intel, dragged out of their home and shipped to their father bongobondhu, the moment BNP (and to a lesser extent Jamat) stops sheltering them for money and vote. So wouldn't worry much about ALs resurgence.
