A political flashpoint has erupted after women staff at the Eiffel Tower claimed they were sidelined during a Hindu delegation's visit over the weekend. The monument was shut on Monday after the staff went on protest. Though the Hindu sect BAPS apologised today, they continue to deny the charge.
