That's because they were up against equally inept and pathetic adversaries. Against their western overlords or their zionist masters, Pakistani military would have been similarly paralyzed, e.g. 10K drone attacks, Salala check point, OBL raid, etc.

Slap on face means a single slap. How about the thousand Israeli attacks that have not been yet answered?
My own prediction :
1. Nothing will happen or US base getting struck by few missiles. (IR is comfortable striking US and not Israel).
2. Israeli ship getting struck and claimed as a great victory
3. Some Israeli diplomat or journalist gets stabbed,killed and claimed as a great victory
4. Unguided Katyusha rockets fall on open fields of Golan, and claimed as a great victory.
5.Iraqi, Syrian, Palestinian resistance combined or singular attack on an Israeli target, and claimed as a great victory.
For now nr.1 is going strong

I don't know why you guys, year after year keep getting disappointed when you know this is the modus operandi of IR? Do you expect 40 Iranian F-16's and some bombers take off from an airbase of Esfahan fly all the way to Israel and bomb some Israeli targets in a cinematic way or what?
This is how Iran under IR leadership operates. Its capabilities are limited, almost non-existant airforce with a huge BM inventory that is kept as last resort.

Iranian response will be to blow up some cell towers, assasinate a mossad janitor, blow up an empty field in an American base, and declare victory.
If IRGC generals are extra drunk and bold, they might launch a couple of missiles at Iraq and Pakistan.
But they will never touch Israel. Even their proxy Hezbollah is just blowing up cell towers at the border. Nuclear armed Pakistan and India used to have more intense daily firing at the Kashmir border till the 2021 ceasefire.

At least know what weapons Iran has or doesn’t have before giving analysis.
