I would be happy if there was a change of consciousness both among the leading elite and among the people that only united can we succeed and prosper and we are indvidual easy prey.

If the Meccan alliance between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey is sincerely conceived as a predecessor of the alliance of Islamic states, I would like Iran, Iraq and Syria to join that alliance in the next phase and then other countries of the Middle East and Central Asia.

If Europe, after the First and Second World Wars managed to overcome its internal divisions and differences and create the European Union and NATO, I see no reason why the Muslims of the Middle East could not do the same.

And just imagine the strength of united states and peoples, do you think anyone would dare to abuse Muslims?

I don't know how we got into this situation as an Ummah, I don't know who contributed the most to it, but I know that it's not going well for all of us if we continue like this.

I agree with you. I'm not particularly "religiously motivated" and have never been a fan of this ummah-speak. But now, it is clear that only Muslims can care enough to preserve the lives and wellbeing of other Muslims in the face of such abject hatred.

My opinion, and I understand many will differ, is that strong nation states (not militias of desperation) unified with regards to trade, science, logistics, and military procurement, will drag our nations, kicking and screaming, out of the quagmire that has been imposed upon us all by a century of our own poor strategic decision making and hostile clandestine actions against us.

Indeed, from adversity comes opportunity, should we wish to seize it.

He’s not intelligent enough to be playing games of deception and sophistry. He has always been utterly incompetent, even since the war with Iraq in the 80s.

If they had a peanut as a brain, they would know that the US is not going to leave them alone from now on. So, acquiring nuclear weapons is a must at this point. Not even a decision that requires thinking, but a must for survival.

Wanting to leave the NPT is not a secret matter that can’t be discussed, it’s something the IRI threatened to do many times if they were attacked, and it is going through parliament again now (it will not pass as usual)

It's a decision the Parliament should make. The bill to leave the NPT has been circulated in the Parliament multiple times, since Israel attacked Iran and even before that, but it is not even discussed after years. In a competent country, the Parliament would be an independent body but that is unfortunately the case.

The Iranian political system is a scam. The Parliament passes whatever that is dictated to them. But all that aside, how can a piece of paper prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons?

Let's say that tomorrow Iran explodes a nuclear device somewhere underground while we're still a signatory of the NPT. What are they going to do? Nothing worse than what they would do to Iran now, or if we had done it after leaving the NPT

I agree, strong national states modeled on European states are needed. But the problem in the Islamic world is the numerous peoples who do not have their own national state and their national question has not been resolved. For example, Kurds who are scattered in Turkiye, Syria, Iraq and Iran. Balochs in Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan and many other smaller and larger peoples.

By the way unlike you who probably come from a country where Muslims are the dominant majority so you don't have that pronounced religious identity, which I completely understand and justify, I am from Bosnia, where after the loss of sovereignty about 150 years ago, we are constantly exposed to physical persecution from others so our primary identity is religious because through Islam we have preserved the awareness of our national identity, although compared to other Islamic nations we are the most secular and the least religious. How specific our situation is is shown by the fact that almost 99% of us declare ourselves as Muslims believers in the population censuses even though there are a large number of atheists, agnostics and others among us.

As long as the Islamic Republic adheres to the NPT, any war against it would be an act of aggression.

The moment the Islamic Republic withdraws from the NPT, the Western propaganda machine will deem an attack on Iran to be justified.

Consequently, Iran needs a compelling *casus belli* to void the NPT and justify its withdrawal in the eyes of the world. The golden rule of Persian diplomacy is that they are always the aggrieved party; however, withdrawing from the NPT requires a reason indisputably proportionate to the threat facing the Iranian people.

Such a scenario would only arise from the massive bombing of civilian populations or the use of nuclear weapons—even if directed solely at nuclear infrastructure.

As long as the US or Israel do not cross that red line, nuclear weaponry remains *haram* (forbidden).

Yet there is no doubt that Iran already possesses nuclear weapons. No one builds enrichment facilities 100 meters deep beneath granite mountains merely to play cards with a mentally challenged individual in the White House.
