I am constantly saying they should be proactive. This policy of getting ****ed and doing nothing is a useless policy. It has zero upside. We haven't yet worked out how to fight an insurgency. That is a deep shame.

KPK leaders are threatening to turn Islamabad in to somnath while their own province burn down. They have only 1 job, to show that they are doing all for Imran Khan release to please his baji Aleema Khan. KPK can go to hell. KPK whole govt is under control of Aleema Khan.

My position for PTI has gone from indifference to hate. They are a 5th column within Pakistan. Should be treated like the Soviets did its ideological enemies.

TTA/P have outfoxed the military leadership.
They are too scared to go all in, and unable to stop the constant attacks.
The KPK leadership is sympathetic to the Afghans, and some others serve as the B team for the tribal radicals.
Pakistan needs to go for broke and launch all out war on the Taliban, but it won't, and thus cannot stop this. It can't launch a full on op either as the KPK admin keeps opposing.
This is humiliation.

With things coming to a boil with the Houthis and Iran, I suspect some distractions are afoot.

This will be a period of losses...the state will have to grind it out till it can put the focus back on KPK and Afghanistan.

The state may be of the opinion that heating up the Afghan border right now may not be beneficial but we have been surprised before by Pakistani actions. I don't think the issue is one of capabilities, rather it is more about the priorities it seems.

Saudis are probably working with both Pakistan and Turkey on solidifying their defensive posture. One can probably imagine the entire GS branch working overtime on this. Meanwhile, for KPK/Balochistan, the Corps Commanders and the paramilitary forces are probably just carrying out their routine/reactive work instead of taking a very holistic proactive approach as was done in Gen Raheel Sharif's tenure in KPK.

I think Pakistan needs to get some back-channel comms open with the Baloch sardars to figure a way out to cool things in Balochistan. Then the attention can be turned towards dealing with the Taliban abetment by doing some concerted "software" updades in Afghanistan including some alignment with the Panjsheris (which our Pakhtun leadership is loathed to, but they have run out of options with the Takfiri Taliban).

That proactive approach is what's needed. And the bases/strongholds in Afghanistan should be hit regularly. A few km buffer at the border should be the aim. And throw the PTI leadership of KPK in jail. Traitors.

How can we do that ? Let's present some points and then discuss if PTI or "PTI Types" are in control of this or favor ot or against it.

1. Closed and properly managed birders.

Pti is not in control of this but this alone will ensure there are no terrorist movements and cross border infiltration. This will also make internal operations successful. Becasue what happens usually is that whenever there is an operation. TTP just move to afghanistsn. And when operation stops they come back.

Now, is PTI or PTI type in favor of this or against this ? 100% in favor of this. Who would want repetitive terrorist attacks in their land by afghani terrorists and their supported TTP ? We dont. Please start proper border management.

2. Large scale militar operations.

Well, leave PTI or PTI Type, even the common people are against it. Becaise it causes IDPs which are then prohibited from going to punjab. And other districts of KP have to manage that load. So Pakistanis, made IDPs in their land, but can not move to punjab because punjab won't allow it. And it did happen. I am not talking from my rare. And reason 2 is as I mentioned above. Only khyber saw like 10 operations. Still it faces terrorism. Because of improper border management. Any large scale operation is bound to fail till we make the border an impenetrable wall.

3. Expelling Afghanis from our land.

No one in PTI or PTI Type is against it. Everyone just want it to be humane. Because we share a border with them and science haven't reached to a level where you can just pick afghanistan from your border and put it down in middle of indian ocean. These guys have spend decades in Pakistan. Some of them are namak haram but some of them can be your ambassadors. Any sensible nation would want to cash that. So send them respectfully so that they also dont turn against you.


I hope I covered many of your missconceptions against the "PTI Type" for other. You can just talk to someone from KP before making your mind against them.

Bodies of 2 FC personnel who went missing in Bannu recovered​

BANNU: The bodies of two Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel who went missing a day earlier were recovered from the Kamali graveyard in Palosi, Rescue 1122 and local sources said on Monday.

The deceased personnel were identified as Havaldar Ishaq and Sepoy Umar Hayat. Both belonged to Platoon No 59.

According to sources, the personnel were allegedly abducted by unidentified armed men from Saifan Kozi Khel in the Karam Garhi area within the jurisdiction of Cantt police station on Sunday evening.

Following the incident, security was tightened in the area, while a search operation for the unidentified assailants was launched. Further investigation was under way, sources said.

The incident comes a week after an Elite Force constable was martyred within the jurisdiction of the Bannu Cantonment Police Station.

KP witnessed an increase in terrorist attacks in August compared with July, according to monthly data compiled by the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS).

The province, excluding the merged districts, recorded 54 terrorist attacks in August compared with 36 in July, representing an increase of 50 per cent. Deaths resulting from terrorist attacks declined from 69 in July to 44 in August, while injuries declined from 96 to 70, representing a decrease of 27pc.

We can't fix the taliban proxy problem without fixing KPK.

Pull the rug from under PTI and regime change this province. Then together with a more collaborative and supportive leadership they can civilize FATA and have a unified position against the taliban.
