What about forces leadership??? They are more interested in serving Iran than their own homeland.

I am constantly saying they should be proactive. This policy of getting ****ed and doing nothing is a useless policy. It has zero upside. We haven't yet worked out how to fight an insurgency. That is a deep shame.
If Pak had the will, these rats would shake with fear. Instead they know nothing comes their way!

KPK leaders are threatening to turn Islamabad in to somnath while their own province burn down. They have only 1 job, to show that they are doing all for Imran Khan release to please his baji Aleema Khan. KPK can go to hell. KPK whole govt is under control of Aleema Khan.

My position for PTI has gone from indifference to hate. They are a 5th column within Pakistan. Should be treated like the Soviets did its ideological enemies.

We still won't do what needs to be done.
TTA/P have outfoxed the military leadership.
They are too scared to go all in, and unable to stop the constant attacks.
The KPK leadership is sympathetic to the Afghans, and some others serve as the B team for the tribal radicals.
Pakistan needs to go for broke and launch all out war on the Taliban, but it won't, and thus cannot stop this. It can't launch a full on op either as the KPK admin keeps opposing.
This is humiliation.

With things coming to a boil with the Houthis and Iran, I suspect some distractions are afoot.

This will be a period of losses...the state will have to grind it out till it can put the focus back on KPK and Afghanistan.

The state may be of the opinion that heating up the Afghan border right now may not be beneficial but we have been surprised before by Pakistani actions. I don't think the issue is one of capabilities, rather it is more about the priorities it seems.

Saudis are probably working with both Pakistan and Turkey on solidifying their defensive posture. One can probably imagine the entire GS branch working overtime on this. Meanwhile, for KPK/Balochistan, the Corps Commanders and the paramilitary forces are probably just carrying out their routine/reactive work instead of taking a very holistic proactive approach as was done in Gen Raheel Sharif's tenure in KPK.

I think Pakistan needs to get some back-channel comms open with the Baloch sardars to figure a way out to cool things in Balochistan. Then the attention can be turned towards dealing with the Taliban abetment by doing some concerted "software" updades in Afghanistan including some alignment with the Panjsheris (which our Pakhtun leadership is loathed to, but they have run out of options with the Takfiri Taliban).

That proactive approach is what's needed. And the bases/strongholds in Afghanistan should be hit regularly. A few km buffer at the border should be the aim. And throw the PTI leadership of KPK in jail. Traitors.
