It is really ugly what the Saudis are putting out on X and elsewhere about Houthis and the Shia. And it is quite revealing the accounts which are repeating Saudi propaganda points. I knew some Pakistani accounts were on the Saudi payroll but I didn't know there were this many!

Are Egyptian social media accounts repeating Saudi agitprop or no ? It always indicates what way a government is leaning.

I don't doubt that the Houthis are not DELIBERATELY CONSPIRING with Tel Aviv, but they are certainly now aiding their cause. In fact, there is a good reason Tel Aviv has been quiet for a month. more than 90% of Egyptians are with Iran and Houthis , even a lot of our government personals are with them but some are with GCC due to loans and so on , however, Sisi is afraid to send any soldiers there because it's gonna be the last straw to break his back , he already ruined the economy and fabric of our society , he doesn't want to do any foolish thing anymore .. imagine if an egyptian soldier gets killed or becomes a hostage in yemen and they make a video about it!! it will be crazy here.
plus our focus now is on Ethiopia and israel , we can't lose soldiers or equipments in Yemen and waste our efforts there.

I think the idea that Saudi would eventually replace the US/Israel with Pakistan/Turkiye and funnel all its cash into the MIC's of those countries instead of the West is very far-fetched. I mean just one of the problems with it is that it fundamentally ignores the DNA of Saudi and GCC autocracies.

On paper looks difficult, Saudia led alliance includes Usa as its main backer, they control the world. Houthis are just a militia and realistically pose no challenge to the Saudis. Its like Afghanistan Taliban, anyone can invade them easily but will face insurgency but Afghan Taliban cannot overtake other nations or topple governments.
