Afghanistan can manufacture drones and some small missiles, if Hamas and Hezbolla can do it then why not Afghanistan

8 drones launched by Afghan Taliban shot down near Torkham border, Kohat: security sources​

The armed forces on Wednesday shot down eight drones launched by the Afghan Taliban after they entered Pakistani airspace near the Torkham border and Kohat, according to security sources.

The sources said the drones were intercepted by the air defence systems, which they described as “active and vigilant”.

“The armed forces and the ‘Shaheens’ of the Pakistan Air Force professionally thwarted the Afghan Taliban regime’s cowardly attempt to target public areas,” security sources said.

According to the sources, four of the eight drones were shot down in areas adjacent to the Torkham border, while the remaining four were downed near Kohat.

Earlier, security sources said two “rudimentary” drones had been brought down using “soft skill” methods about seven kilometres from Kohat city. They said the armed forces’ air defence systems remained on round-the-clock alert and were maintaining vigilance against “all threats from Kharjistan”.

“This incursion serves as yet another proof of the Afghan Taliban regime’s direct support and patronage of terrorists,” security sources said.

Later, security sources said the wreckage of the destroyed drones was being recovered. Last night’s exchange of fire in Kurram sector and Wednesday’s drone incursion “demonstrated the state of the Afghan Taliban’s panic and disarray,” security sources added.

The development comes two days after Pakistan, in response to recent terrorist attacks in KP, conducted “calibrated” airstrikes in the border region with Afghanistan against terrorist hideouts and safe havens of terrorist organisations.

A statement from the information ministry on Monday said that over 28 terrorists were eliminated in the strikes. “It is a matter of grave concern that Afghanistan continues to remain a hub of terrorism,” the ministry said at the time, specifying that the “threat to Pakistan emanates from Afghanistan”.

Kohat seems to have become an epicenter of counter terrorism activities. This Afghan drone infiltration seems to be coordinated with multiple terrorist attacks in efforts to preempt an IBO.

Because current situtaion between Pakistan and Afghanistan is Fitna.. We are still trying to avoid excessive blood shed, weapons and money on killing fellow muslims(to what extent their believe is). Moreover, we don’t have an end game in Afghanistan and we can’t make them our Azli dushman like India..

Because current situtaion between Pakistan and Afghanistan is Fitna.. We are still trying to avoid excessive blood shed, weapons and money on killing fellow muslims(to what extent their believe is). Moreover, we don’t have an end game in Afghanistan and we can’t make them our Azli dushman like India..

Fitna excuse is just that-an excuse. If India were truly your enemy, wouldn’t you prioritize us over killing fellow Muslims in Afghanistan? But no, you’d rather burn your own house down than confront the real threat.

Spare us the theatrics. If India’s your real enemy, then act like it-launch a real attack. Or admit you’re too cowardly to face us and would rather butcher your own Baloch and Pashtun Muslims instead.

Every time Pakistani military blames India, it avoids the much harder question: if India is responsible, why isn’t Pakistan attacking India?

Why are you so impatient that you need to spew your diarrhoea on every thread?

Both problems require dealing with as both originally arose independently of one another.

Afghanistan will not suddenly stop hating Pakistan if we nuke you today.

Are you cognisant of their history, specifically that they now refuse to acknowledge the Durand Line, after historically having notarised a formal agreement through Abdur Rehman Khan in 1893, further ratified and re-stated in 1905, 1919, and 1921? You should have some rudimentary knowledge because Hindus and Sikhs also fought against them to enforce said arrangement.

That they work together with Hindustan today is an inevitable consequence of their hatred for Pakistan, not a prerequisite for it.
