These strikes weren't because of any bruised egos, but that Turkish intel chief visit might have been a final throw of the dice from Pakistan as Arabs have been increasingly leaning towards the Talibs, instead of reigning them. TTP is run Pak establishments, who were operating in Afghanistan under the guise of Tallys since 1996.

this operation is just a drama played by PTI, estab. and TTP. Objective is to prepare the public for the taliban take over of the public affairs.

it is only a matter of time. TTP, is a false positive. Real danger are the islamist in Pak. establishment who are running and supporting Pak.

Pakistan mostly follow Barhelvi sect and Talibs are Deoband sect.. Punjab and Sindh is mostly influenced by former and KPK and Balochistan by latter..

The Afghan forces opened indiscriminate fire, followed by an attempted physical assault on Largo Post (40–45 TTA) and Amanto Post (30–35 TTA) along the Pak-Afghan border in the Chaman Sector.

The alert troops responded swiftly and effectively, successfully repulsing both attacks. At least 20 TTA personnel were reportedly neutralized during the engagement.

The following locations were also engaged and targeted:
